Re: Stoke City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Fecks sake we have been spied on and now Stoke will know who is in our team and who will be taking set pieces. Can't believe the press managed to infiltrate Bielsa's press conference.

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

Respect to Potter for that. Given he's managed abroad, he's probably been the beneficiary of it at some point I'd imagine. He will know it goes on, probably a common practise,, he will have been spied on and may have use 'spies' himself. I expect Bielsa thinks we are being spied on which is why he ...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

Just goes to show that it would appear a lot of teams have fairly open training pitches (if people can walk their dogs past them) and aren't concerned by who might be watching.

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

Sensible summation by Graham Potter, Swansea Manager. Doubt sky will not be showing it.... Potter has had his say. "There were a couple of fellas walking their dogs here at the weekend!" he said. "I have no problem with it. I know it’s a polarising subject and great for the media. But if someone has...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate ( Thur 17th Jan)

Sky's decision not to televise the Bielsa interview live was simply down to them knowing that he would be putting everyone in their place by telling the truth. Instead they don't cover it, despite focussing so much time on the story, so that they can just pick out the titbits and lies for their agen...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate ( Thur 17th Jan)

Was very interesting to see that the BBC changed its headline from Bielsa admits to spying to Bielsa admits to watching. Disappointed Yorkshire Post still referring to it as spying when it isn't as it was just someone watching training sessions from public spaces.

Re: Well Frankie.....

Advantage gained from spying: Possibly knowledge that set piece taker Wilson wasn't playing 1 day before the match. Bielsa press conference on Monday 4 days before the match - Tells everyone Douglas, our set piece taker, is definitely out. Also mentions that Hernandez, our 2nd set piece taker, is po...

Re: Well Frankie.....

If I were a Derby fan I would be asking why Lampard picked a strong team for a cup tie before playing Leeds, and then after losing to Leeds again picked a strong team for the replay thus jeopardising their chances of promotion.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate ( Thur 17th Jan)

Frank Lampard went on the counter attack following Derby's penalty win against a very poor Southampton side. "He gave an impression," Lampard told Sky Sports. "I haven't seen Pep Guardiola give that impression, Jurgen Klopp give that, Mauricio Pochettino give that. They do it behind closed doors de...

Re: Well Frankie.....

Maybe a hop, skip and a jump over the ethical line - On 23 September 2001, Lampard, along with three other Chelsea players was fined two weeks wages by the club for his behaviour whilst on a drinking binge on 12 September. Lampard and the others had abused American tourists at a Heathrow hotel, just...

Ah well Sky can go back to creaming their pants over Frank again now. Wonder if MB will be mentioned in any interview....

Re: Well Frankie.....

Interesting that Derby's 3 best players (Mount, Tomori and Wilson) are all loanees. Frank having to get favours in from his mates. Whilst at Leeds Bielsa improves our players so much that they outshine the loanees.

Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.

The great thing is that he has shown that nothing was gained from spying. 1) Learn which players were injured - well doesn't matter as once he received the teamsheet (I think it has to be in at least an hour before kick off) he would be able to give all the new info to the Leeds players in just a co...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

As I stated before the whole incident was played up by Frank Lampard to try to get one over on us and disrupt us. No pliers, fence cutters etc, no trespassing simply someone stood on public land. Even Scott Carson, Derby keeper, stated that the incident only led to them stopping training for a coupl...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

Yes we can confirm. We can categorically state that we did NOT disclose police-held information to Derby County, Leeds United or anyone other than those within the police force who needed to know. The matter is in the hands of both clubs and the EFL. — Derbyshire Police (@DerbysPolice) January 16, 2...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 16th Jan)

Kiko Casilla has arrived in Leeds and will undertake a medical this afternoon. Should Casilla start against Stoke at the weekend or should he prove himself first? Will let MB decide - certainly less adapting needed than if he were an outfield player and a couple of training sessions should be enoug...

Re: Silvestri Or Weidwald

Just a quick one I’d be interested in. One was completely useless and the other outstanding on his day. Not saying which as I might influence this very important poll  Neither was completely useless. Both had matches where they earnt us the wins by making great saves. Equally both were poor on...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

David Seaman said on Talksport that Wenger used to spy on Watford's training ground. It seems there's a split between those who admit it went on and those lying and trying to pretend otherwise. It seems the racists are trying to be outraged over nothing. You know what, I hope they do reverse the sc...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

The key sentence for me in that article is by Rosenior who says, "If Stuart's punishment was what the EFL went with, I'd guarantee you nobody else would be caught sending scouts to training grounds." It is not that they wouldn't do it but that they wouldn't be caught. Seems the crime is being caught...
