Re: Current moderators

I would suggest that if anyone wants to stand they do so otherwise we keep the current moderators. If we maybe say a closing date as end of Feb and then we have a vote with the 3 current lowest placed moderators and all new applicants and then forma new moderator group.

will you just do another one on how Terry Tosspot from Tadcaster Albion will finally be the man to get Leeds promoted?
Just got a fiver on Terry being our next manager at the bookies. Seems they share your view as he was 5/4 favourite.

Re: Sadly.....

A misjudged attempt at humour on my part and no offence intended. Genuinely thought Liggy would find it amusing which was the intention. Apologies to all, especially Sandra and Liggy.

Re: Simon Grayson.....

no idea why he gets so much bad rep. got us promoted and got sacked when we were 10th and three points off the playoffs in the championship. i'd take him back here without a doubt did a great job at preston too on very little resources Completely agree. Let's look at the starting defence from our p...

Re: Wolves

I see things differently as the continued recruitment of young players suggests a much longer term plan than just getting promoted and 'flipping.' If he simply wanted to get us promoted and then sell us then spending money on buying the stadium and buying young players makes no sense at all as it wo...

Re: Current moderators

Well... the 2 with lots of votes from the many members on here who feel strongly about this should continue. The others should step down from being mods and then a nomination and vote for 1 more new mod should happen. Sounds good. I would suggest that everyone wishing to apply to be the third moder...

Re: Klich/Christiansen

O'Kane was part of the team that did well at the start of the season. Just seems that once a few fans get on a player's back they then can't do anything right - won't be the first player that will probably leave us and then go on to be a good player elsewhere.

We're loaning you out to Cultural Leonesa
Sadly I have had to return as despite me going to go there for a 6 month loan they would only let me log on to their website for 8 minutes per week.

Re: Klich/Christiansen

Hasselbaink only got 5 in 40 in the Dutch 2nd tier at The Grotinators age . . . . . Different players adapt slower. . Personally think Eredivisie is probably a higher quality league technically just less physical. And that could well be the key that Klich is a good technical player but lacks the ph...

Re: Klich/Christiansen

Klich played 74 minutes for FC Utrecht as they defeated Zwolle 2-1 in the Eredivisie. Utrecht remain in the top six in the division and are now unbeaten in their last three matches. This would be the same Eredivisie that Jay-Roy Grot played 24 matches in during 2016-2017 season scoring 6 times.....

Re: Klich/Christiansen

Don't you do that all the time?...especially in your defence of TC where no evidence exists he could be a good coach at this level. Also Oscar just posted some evidence v a premiership team and he seems to have an excellent grasp of players attributes.. We just didn't see enough of our banner signi...

Re: Klich/Christiansen

Okay I will admit that I am wrong and that you-tube clips v a Burnley XI in a meaningless cup tie is definite proof of a player's true ability.

This guy must be worth a fortune

Re: Klich/Christiansen

Let's all make up things in the absence of facts. Everytime I saw Klich he looked ponderous and seemed to lose the ball in dangerous areas. Whilst a techically gifted player he didn't look like a championship midfielder to me. I made the point before that some players, despite their attributes, don'...

Re: Leeds U23/U18s

That Edmonson looks a big lad for a 16 year old, tall and frame wise - reminds me a bit of the young Rooney who was a man in a child's body. Great to see the togetherness of the team with the celebration for the first goal as it looked like everyone bar the keeper joined in the celebration - great t...

Re: Klich/Christiansen

Imagine we cant, we couldn't recall the bloke from Spain till January or Coyle either. Assume has to be when the window is open. Incidentally, unrelated to Klich, Ideguchi hardly getting a game in Spain, another genius idea to send them him  I wouldn't worry yet as they are probably trying to...

Seems to come back quickly from nasty injuries and hope he gets a good run of games, even as sub, now so we can really get to see how good he can be. Definitely looked promising with a bit of pace and strength about him just gotta hope he isn't a Sacko clone as the question mark is about his end pro...

Re: Pierre-Michel Lasogga

Good point but barring him being absolutely amazing for us I cannot see him getting a transfer to a club that would match his wages. I don't know how long he has left on his contract there, assuming at least another year though so not a free agent, so I guess the key factors in a permanent move woul...

Re: Pierre-Michel Lasogga

Lasgogga for me is a more natural finisher but our style of play (or lack of it) suited Wood better. Don;t forget it took Wood a full season before he started scoring whereas Lasogga didn't even get a preseason with us so the team have been playing catch up in working out how to get the best out of ...
