Re: Leeds Utd v Sunderland Match Thread

Bamford is doing what Bamford does, not sure why people are knocking him for it. He has always been a streaky player, capable of greatness and equalyl capable of glaring misses. He isn't a different player to the player he was a few matches ago, the only difference was he was scoring. He could just ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Sunderland Match Thread

Waited a couple of days to post as I was so disgusted by the management and whole team. I think clearly the team is playing with too much fear and are being strangled by the manager's rigid system. For me the only logical solution is to ditch the manager and play all our U18 side who showed no fear ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 5th April) U18's Reach Cup Final After Edging Past Lions

Strange how the BBC did the big feature on Millwall's under 18s reaching the semi as if it was a huge thing for a championship side to reach the semi. It then turns out 3 of the 4 clubs in the semis were from championship clubs.

Re: Premier League debate

Yeah his reputation is a bit inflated. Did well at Saints but they seemed to be on the up when he went there. Did well at Spurs but should have won the league in the season when Leicester did bot bottled it - with Leicester winning the title it shows that that season it was more about City, Liverpoo...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 4th April) Championship in uproar after true extent of Leicester accounts discl

All this talk of Leicester cheating is well... a bit OTT They tried to compete with the big boys and because of one bad season could be punished more than once for it. Unlike the big clubs who shake it off, move on and seem to be able to find finance from some where. They gave their fans the FA Cup...

Re: University research on the role of football in response to military conflict

We need to sort out more wars through footy. Shame Pele and Bobby Moore are dead now and the rest of the guys who got the draw with the Germans must be knocking on a bit.

Maybe we could get Southgate, Henderson and Maguire to f*ck off over to Russia

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 4th April) Championship in uproar after true extent of LCFC accounts disclosed

Susan Whealen caught on tape in a Lester pub We went with the Ridsdale model of invest to impress, but didn't go for the aquarium with goldfish so we thought we would be ok, just one solitary guppy in a big round bowl. We had a clause in the player's contracts saying that if we got relegated they w...

I can see the problem and anyway I have a clutch of washing up medals and 2 for doing the vacuuming. I don’t have any room left in the trophy cabinet. I had heard the rumours though I fear I may have got the wrong idea when I was told you liked getting your hands covered in fairy liquid and were an...

Re: EFL Championship Awards Shortlist

I hope so. I love medals. The committee decided to give you the award, for biggest loser, but they realised that by giving you the award before the competition finished you would then become a winner and as such you were disqualified from the event. After being disqualified you then became the bigg...

Re: EFL Championship Awards Shortlist

McKenna will win easily with the non faders Why do they do this with 6 matches still left? Would Farke be a contender if we don't go up automatically? Will Roenior be a contender if Hull finish where they are now, 10th? It is like running a 100m race and handing out the medals based on how everyone...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 3rd March) Can anyone stop Ipswich

Is it just me that finds Leicester's excuse really strange? A very feeble excuse especially when you consider Sheff Utd 2019-2020 9th 2020-2021 20th and even us 2020-2021 9th and then surviving the following season 21/22 in the last game of the season. So Leicester had 2 very recent examples of how...

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City - Post Match Discussion

I think you are being a bit unfair on Cree, unsure where we would be without his 18 goals & 9 assists in his 40 appearances. All good strikers have a greedy attitude in their game. As for his penalty dance, he deceived the keeper making him dive before he shot, going down the middle makes sense...

Nothing much wrong with Ampadu's performance v Hull. Sure a few wayward passes but not surprised he tried to go long more often as we were giving it away quite often in our own half. Sometimes the long ball over the top is an excellent outlet.Certainly felt we looked less likely to concede v Hull th...
