Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - Germany v Mexico

Well done Mexico, a great defensive effort in the second half and wonderful counter-attacking when they got the chance.

Missed the first-half

Is there a shock on the cards ?
Well you know never to write Germany off and they have played well, but Mexico are worthy of their first half lead.

Like our pundits, we'll have to disagree on that one. :)
Having just seen the highlights package, Argentina should definitely have had a second penalty.

Argentina should have had a penalty, France shouldn't have and I can't remember the other one

Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - next up FRANCE V AUSTRALIA

So near, yet so far. Battled hard but there was a difference in quality and unfortunately they created one chance too many for us,

Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - next up FRANCE V AUSTRALIA

Half chances aplenty for France but we've defended well - especially Sainsbury. Had a couple of half chances ourselves.

Re: 2018 WORLD CUP - Portugal v Spain. 7pm

A great game of football between Portugal and Spain. Spain probably paid the price of trying to close the game out to early. Very risky at this level when only a goal up, especially with Ronaldo in the opposing team. Brilliant free-kick to earn Portugal a point.

Excellent first half of football but what a howler from De Gea to gift Portugal a 2-1 half time lead.

All done and dusted pal.
