Personally I would go with Borthwick-Jackson whom played really well in his last outing at Leicester

Tyler Denton would get my vote.

Re: QPR v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

Becoming a bit of a joke that Pontus is having to play in two positions to cover our gormless RB :x I know Ayling is good, but he's meant to be a right-BACK, not a right midfield behind a right-wing. Go forward a bit to support, but a defender has to get back and defend. I'd put Berardi at right-ba...

Re: QPR v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

1) Roofe. Superb in both halves. Great work rate for a forward.
2) Viera. Brilliant breaking up the oppositions attacks throughout.
3) Pontus. Never looked troubled, even when he was having to cover for Ayling.

Re: Kemar Roofe

Finally got back to being played as striker again. How many goals has he got to score from that position to prove its his best position?
Got to wonder how good we'd be with Roofe and Ekuban playing as a front pair?
But has Christiansen got the balls to play three at the back to accommodate ?

Re: QPR v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Must be getting close to playing Berardi at right-back, and Tyler Denton or Anita or Borthwick Jackson at left-back.

Re: QPR v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

On Sky they said their goal was very strange. Sounds like Weidweld was a bit unlucky, with nothing he could do about it.

My audio has fallen silent, so I'm watching on bet365. I quite like it.

Re: QPR v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Forwards take time to gel. Cibicki hasn't had time in matches, but maybe he's started to gel in training. He can't be as bad as Wood, when he first came in. He couldn't even kick the ball, let alone get it on target.

Re: Lufc scouting

#lufc scout watched Celta Vigo B 0-0 Deportivo La Coruna B on 25/11....no idea why but 20yo Deportivo FW Ismael Diaz has 3 goals in 5 starts & is probably going to be playing against England next summer for Panama...defenders Blas Alonso & Quique Fornos have both been in 1st team

Re: What we need

I agree, but worried a technically gifted player in place of Viera or Phillips (both defensive midfield) would weaken us, allowing the the opposition more possession, and more time on the ball.

Re: Leeds v Aston Villa - MAN OF THE MATCH

Pontus: Won everything in the air, won tackles, and moved us forward from the back. Even scored a goal. What more can you ask of a defender? Viera: superb effort, and commitment. Him and Phillips give us heart, passion, and a bit of pace. They battle, and lead by example. Phillips: I wonder how many...

Leeds are thought to be talking to a young Norwegian striker:

Re: Lufc scouting

I doubt we're watching him. He plays for the other team, and our scout has been to the last two sporting Braga games, not fierense. So probably a sporting Braga player we're watching.

Re: Lufc scouting

Maybe Sporting need to shrink their wage bill to get a more expensive player in.
We have a player from Barcelona don't we? You never know with AR at the helm.
Maybe we were looking at a player from the other team.

Re: Eunan O'Kane

He got off to a good start this season, but his loss of former has been big. He looked to be trying hard, but he looked lost. His passing was poor, he was off the pace. I think it's someone else's turn.

Re: Barnsley v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

Saiz: injected pace every time he got the ball.
Alioski: work-rate and a goal.
Ekuban: I can't remember ever seeing a striker make so many tackles, and succeed in making contact with the ball. Deserved a goal after such a hard working performance.

Re: Caleb Ekuban

I question that one tackle.
I counted six times in the first half, where he got a foot in and kicked the ball away from the player in possession. Bloody tremendous work for a striker!
Give him a run in the team.
