Lessons Learnt from Disappointing Season End Will Make Leeds Stronger For 2019/20

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/dallas_hernandez_heartbreak.png An exceptionally promising season ultimately ended in heartbreak for Leeds Utd as they slumped to a surprise defeat to Derby in the Championship playoffs. Marcelo Bielsa’s exciting young side looked to be cruising back to the Premier...

We dust ourselves down and go again, but changes are needed

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/Orta-Radrizzani.png Last weeks loss against Derby in the play-off semi-final obviously wasn’t what we had hoped for but we dust ourselves down and have to put the huge disappointment of this season behind us - we certainly don't need a hangover season next year. De...

Re: Parachute Payments

Shouldn't be any need for them, teams should structure their contracts with relegation clauses such that there isn't a massive financial impact. That said, the difference between TV money is the main issue, it's so vast of course there is a financial shock to the clubs. As we know the inept Football...

Re: 2018/19 Season Player Ratings

Scores tainted by the second half of the season I fear. Pablo was unplayable for half of it, nothing came off for him in the last few games though. Phillips and Klich the stand-outs. Ayling, Alioski and Harrison got better as the season went on. Roofe without injury could have been one of the top sc...

Top-Three Goal-Scorers Under Pep Guardiola Football

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/pep_mesi.png Whatever people make of the vast resources made available to Pep Guardiola, there can be no hiding the fact that he is one of the very best managers on the planet, inspired by our very own Marcelo Bielsa of course. Leeds United Supporters’ Trust issue open letter to Marcelo Bielsa

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/LUST.png This season may not have ended as we had hoped but it has been a fantastic season all the same. The bond between the club and the fans has been rejuvenated, Elland Road is full and bouncing and Leeds shirts are worn with pride in the city centre in ever in...

Amazing how clubs like these , Millwall, Cardiff etc are obsessed by us, even though they make out we mean nothing to them.

Through the heartbreak there are positives

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/dallas_hernandez_heartbreak.png Football isn’t just about winning, if it was we would all be off supporting Manchester City right now rather than feeling absolutely gutted about last nights result. Supporting a team is more than backing a winning side it’s about ha...

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/ER_Fans.png It may be a glorious day in Leeds today, the sun rising high in the clear blue sky, it’s rays cast across the beautiful billiard table like pitch of the Peacock Ground, shimmering brightly off the magnificent new East Stand roof, a twinkle in the eye of...

Marcelo Bielsa would be a welcomed Premier League addition

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/bielsa4.png Leeds United have long desired a return to the top division of English football. They have come close on several occasions, while other seasons have seen them seemingly slip further away from that goal. Many managers have arrived at Elland Road and atte...

100for100 - Greatest LUFC Players 15-11

Back in 2005 we compiled a list of the 100 Greatest Leeds Players Ever. Over 164 players were nominated to give us our final 100 but in the time that has passed since 2005 nearly 200 more players have donned the white shirt of Leeds United. It has not been a period of glory for Leeds United but ther...

Re: Line Of Duty

Best scenes are the interrogation scenes as they are so full of tension. This finale lacked a wee bit of that as I felt the ending was predictable as the bad guy could have only been one of two individuals. I miss Dot as he was a terrific character pity he ate lead a while back Missed Hastings on t...
