Re: MB Issues

Ahh ok, not sure that was down to Harrison who was one of our biggest threats on the day. O/T I'm getting a privacy error everytime I do anything on MOT atm and it's saying the licence or something ran out yesterday No, not blaming Harrison in the slightest, or Costa for making little impact. I jus...

Re: MB Issues

Sorry Adam having a bit of trouble understanding that, probably me or auto correct. I feel any space and threat we had on the left had already disappeared before Costa came on. Harrison himself has been quiet the 10 minutes prior. As a team we sat back, camped out in our own half, didn’t press them...

All very true Adam  although I have Ben & Kalvin on a equal standing

Honesty Leon, I’ve not seen a CB in a Leeds shirt with that composure and quality since Radebe, Woodgate, Ferdinand. He’s not at that level yet but I’m sure he will be.

We got worse without Pablo in our midfield

Bringing Douglas on for Hernandez was crazy. What was Bielsa thinking ?

In fact we were even poorer after all three substitutions

I thought Pablo looked injured, was bobbing away from the area when we had the penalty.

Just made a similar point about our substitutions today

We sat back after 60 mins, hardly pressed, let Keogh control the ball. What were we doing? Why did we sit so deep? The subs were an attempt to overturn that but the damage had already been done.

Re: MB Issues

The first sub was the critical turning point for me..Harrison was playing well giving our mids an outlet that vanished when he left and key in stopping them attacking our left side. Costa for Shackleton for me who was a little lost today and at the same time Nketiah for Bamford..IF you're going to ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Derby County Match Thread - WTF happened out there??

A similar scenario with Leif Davis (our best LB) overcoming Alioski & Douglas both are poor defenders Not gonna happen unfortunately Actually Douglas is hopeless, why the hell he deserves to be on the pitch today god only knows! The only reason I can see for bringing Douglas on was to push Alio up ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Derby County Match Thread - Forshaw still out, no new injury concerns

I'm still pondering after what I have witnessed today....feels like a loss mate Jekyll & Hyde comes to mind :( Agree, walked out of ER feeling like we had lost! First half was the usual , dominated, Derby barely got in our half but we wasted chances and opportunities. Second half, what can be said?...

Happy Birthday Paul Madeley - Revie's Rolls Royce

https://www.motforum.com/images/th/Paul_Madeley1.png Today would have been Paul Madeley’s 75th birthday. Don Revie's ‘Rolls Royce’, the original ‘Super Sub’ and the most versatile player ever to wear the Leeds shirt...and arguably in the whole history of the Football League. In his 724 first team a...

Leeds United fans couldn’t care less about Derby County

https://motforum.com/images/th/KeoghDerby.jpg There are teams out there that seem to think they have big rivalries with Leeds United, when in fact Leeds fans couldn’t care less about them. Southampton was always a rivalry that surprised me on a visit to St Mary's, they care about us way more than w...

As for shirt makers, I'm not excited by Adidas. We'd probably end up with a template which looked like a white version of all their other shirts. Puma are rubbish too. Probably prefer Umbro or Carbrini.

I don't like the tought of three stripes down the side of a Leeds shirt.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate Thursday 19th September) All the latest news from Elland Road

Nice to see we are investing more dosh. I do wonder where it is coming from. It does make sense to have those facilities close to EL, even if it does quash my dream of a brand new stadium built on those grounds. We are currently paying near £1m pounds a year for TA so given a 25 year life the facil...

Leeds United’s plans for an Elland Road training ‘campus’ move a step closer

https://motforum.com/images/th/thorp_arch2.jpg Nearly two years ago Leeds United announced their desire to relocate their training facilities closer to Elland Road, specifically to the site of the former Matthew Murray school which has lay empty since the school buildings were demolished in 2006. The move for the offside Bamford put in was exquisite, he has the tools to unlock defences, maybe he isnt as useful helping out elsewhere as Harrison but yes I think it is time to give him a run in the side.

On the left for Harrison?

I'm tempted on the right, Pablo No.10 and Klich back into CM.

Is it Costa time?

https://motforum.com/images/th/CostaHelder2.jpg The clamour from Leeds fans at the moment is that Eddie Niketia should get the nod to start up front for against Derby. There is no doubting his contribution, two goals in four substitute appearances so far, four in six if we take the League Cup into ...

Our all time favorite Leeds United home shirts

https://motforum.com/images/fav_shirts.png Leeds United haven’t always played in the brilliant all white kits they do today. When the club was founded in 1919 by former Huddersfield Town chairman Hilton Crowther the kit looked awfully familiar to our West Yorkshire rivals with light blue and white ...

Last time we played Derby at home, Forshaw started and bossed the game.

Kiko Casilla, A keeper reborn?

https://motforum.com/images/th/Kiko2019.jpg It’s fair to say that Kiko Casilla had a lot to live up when he signed from Real Madrid in January, it is not often that a Championship club pulls off the signing of a three-time Champions League winning player from one of the worlds best teams. Casilla s...
