Marcelo Bielsa, Our Cure for the January Blues

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/bielsa3.png I’m not going to lie, earlier this month I had those January blues. Three defeats in a row including losses to Hull and Nottingham Forest in the league and being knocked out of the FA Cup by QPR were in stark contrast to the seven game winning streak we...

Won't comment on whether I rate him or not until I see a Youtube video showing his best bits.

Not many clips of him actually catching the ball

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

They have asked Leeds for their observations.

I think they have to do that at the least given the media around it.

Re: Yohan Cabaye

Summer signing fine, but now not so sure. From Bielsa we have learned that no player will play for the first team until they are; i) Up to speed an on-board with the tactics and style of play and.. ii) Super fit I can't imagine playing for Al-Nasr is up to the pace and physicality of the Championshi...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

Its become like the twilight zone, got Stan Collymore going on about "integrity" and Gazza as the voice of sanity. Peeking around forums theres mainly a shrug and support for Bielsa from Manchester United and City fans, Liverpool fans, most fans of other clubs and a lot of Derby fans tbf. Fowler, S...

100for100 - Greatest LUFC Players 95-91

Back in 2005 we compiled a list of the 100 Greatest Leeds Players Ever. In the time that has passed since 2005 nearly 200 more players have donned the white shirt of Leeds United. Some of those who were fresh in the memory when the initial vote was taken may have faded in the memories over the years...

Remembering Phil "Waltzing” Masinga

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/masinga.png This morning we learn of the incredibly sad news that Phil "Waltzing” Masinga has died at the age of 49 after a short illness. Masinga joined Leeds United or £250,000 from Mamelodi Sundowns in August 1994 along with fellow South African Lucas Radebe (Fr...

Re: Other fans forum opinions

I feel Roofe's gamehas come on leaps and bounds this season whether that be down to Bielsa or him getting a continued run. Certainly looking more and more like a no.9 every week. Always felt he did a decent job wherever and whenever he was asked to, but he’s had a consistent run in his favoured pos...

Stamford Bridge, St Andrews
Had a couple of interesting experiences at Stamford Bridge and St Andrews. I regard Chelsea fans as the scummiest, most horrible bunch after one particular occasion.

Walking through the wastelands of Middlesbrough back from the Riverside is always good fun too.

I wouldn't worry too much, someone who thinks Argentina is in Europe and thinks Roofe is poor shouldn't be too much of a threat

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

This statement leaves MB out to dry imo, basically questioning his honesty and integrity. This may pee him off. [A Leeds statement said: "Following comments made by Marcelo Bielsa on Friday, the club will look to work with our head coach and his staff to remind them of the integrity and honesty whi...

Re: Leeds v Derby - MAN OF THE MATCH

Good to see a lot more fans are beginning to appreciate what Alioski brings to the team. Like you say he isn't brilliant at any one thing but his workrate is phenomenal and that is why he is appreciated by his manager and team mates. I though him at left wing back and Harrison at left midfield work...

So difficult, so many great performances. I likewise have changed my mid several times. I know Clarke setup two goals but Forshaw was outstanding, absolutely everywhere and dint put a foot wrong.

Forshaw
Clarke
Alioski
Cooper
Pontus

Spygate, Leeds United Against the World

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/leeds-spies.png I wasn’t going to write about this because if we are honest it’s a bit of a non-event really. But the hypocritical faux outrage by some members of the media and ex-professionals now claiming to be ‘pundits’ over the last 24 hours has been quite fran...
