Re: Current moderators

So who needs to do what to move us forward? I've no wish to boot anyone out, I actually like our 3 non-winners, but if we're going to have change please let's progress. Adam, as our site Admin, I assume you make the next move? It’s fair to say that the subject of moderation has not really been an i...

The Changing Nature of the Championship

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/football-money.png Some things in sports, especially football, just don’t change. After another oh, so predictable season at Elland Road with managerial changes and just enough hope and expectation to make the subsequent failings on the field even more difficult to...

Heckingbottom Could be Ideal for Leeds – If he’s Given Enough Time

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/heckingbottom.png Thomas Christiansen’s reign at Leeds United had its ups and downs, and at times the Danish newcomer to the Championship looked like the real deal. But as the wheels fell off and the results went from bad to worse, few would disagree that his sacki...

Today, football betting in a global industry worth millions, and for the fans, it adds a little spice and...

Taking a punt – what are the top sports for a friendly wager?

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/memora.png Most of us like to place a bet from time to time, whether it is to simply show our allegiance to The Peacocks – you can get 20/1 for a top six finish if you are feeling optimistic – or as a carefully crafted way of making some money, with the head ruling...

Re: Simon Grayson.....

Expert and getting teams promoted from League One. Wish him luck with Bradford.

Loved the football we played under him, exciting stuff, best team we've had for ages.

Re: Gianni Alioski

For me he hasn't been as effective since Ayling's injury. For all people moaned about Ayling positional play the fact that he got up the pitch meant that he was taking players away and giving Alioski more space. I do think next season we will see the best of him as he is probably absolutely shatter...

Re: Blunts v Leeds - What starting line-up does Heck go with?

wtf was heck thinking appointing O'Kane as captain? He was utterly useless. What happened to the "new manager bounce"? wow we really impressed our manager  :bear: Pontus is rulled out as captain due to his temprement but instead we've had Cooper who has had two red cards recently and now O'Ka...

Re: Blunts v Leeds - What starting line-up does Heck go with?

I think if you asked TC, PH or anyone on here to name a strong starting XI (assuming everyone available) we'd probably all pick the same 6 or 7 and then be left filling in from the best of the rest. That has been the trouble all season we have a core group and then are probably carrying at least a ...

Re: Gianni Alioski

Pablo and Dallas can play wide or further forward. Anita can play right back. We looked a different team after Pablo came on too.

I'd be tempted to play Ekuban up front with Lasogga too.

IF there was contact it was minimal and he was desperately trying to pull up. Sheff bloke dived to the floor. :bear:
Unfortunately these days you can't give the player the opertunity to go down. Hunter or Charlton would have snapped him in half.

Aside from the second minute capitulation this performance hasn't been too bad. A lot better since Pablo came on.

There was contact in the box, difficult for the ref not to give to be fair.

They wouldn't dare win it would they Leeds?

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/liammiller.png It is very sad to hear that Republic of Ireland Liam Miller has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. It’s always sad when an ex player dies but at the young age of 36 it makes it even more tragic. Miller was born in Cork in 1981 and initially star...

Heckingbottom no stranger to a feisty Yorkshire derby

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/heckingbottom3.png Paul Heckingbottom may have been a shock choice as the new Leeds United Head Coach but there is one thing for certain, he knows all about Yorkshire derbys. Having grown up in Barnsley and played for Bradford City, Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley...
