Re: Rob Green signs....

Shaky start but so many good saves that have kept us in games this season. Steadiest keeper we've had for a while.

Re: Pontus

Interesting, possibly more interesting him being on the bench.

Thought Coops did ok though. Apart from trying to score his obligatory own goal of course.

Best comebacks of all time

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/KeepFight.png If you haven’t seen the highlights of the Barcelona vs. PSG match yet, then make some time this weekend to take in what is undoubtedly one of the best football matches ever, let alone a stunning comeback. Bookmakers had placed Barca at 200-1 odds to p...

Leeds United over achieving this season?

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/team_2016.png Leeds United are massively over achieving this season, and its brilliant isn’t it? There is always a lot of expectation on the club, why shouldn’t there be with our proud history? But very rarely over the past few years have we come anywhere close to ...

Re: Proper footballer....

I love a quality centre-back :luv: not had one like Pontus during our Champs/L1 years Unsure if anyone on here has bothered to watch the above clips.....sheer quality 8-) Some of the dummies and tricks in the second clip are outstanding, not sure you'd get away with too many of those in the Champio...

Re: Proper footballer....

What a great find he was!

Played all across the pitch in his youth by the sounds of it and it shows. So comfortable on the ball, makes such a difference not having a pair of hoofers at the back. He's got the passion and determination that's always going to go down well with Leeds fans too.

Sutton United 0, Leeds United 6 (24th January 1970)

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/SuttonLeeds.png As Leeds United look ahead to their FA Cup tie against Sutton United this weekend it’s pretty easy to do the head to head results on this fixture. Played one, won one. Likewise that game was in the fourth round of the FA Cup, Leeds came away six nil...

Re: Centenary Pavilion vs Wednesday

Hi all Still buzzing after a big win last night and getting very excited for my trip over to see the Wednesday match! Just looking to see what people think of the centenary pavilion for drinks and food before the game? Would usually hang about the city centre and then bus it out to ER but fancy hea...

Doukara Scores Yeboahesque Screamer

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/doukara.png Souleymane Doukara has had a chequered past at Leeds United. Famously part of the ‘restaurant six’ when along with Mirco Antenucci, Giuseppe Bellusci, Dario del Fabro, Marco Silvestri and Edgar Cani he pulled out of a game against Charlton Athletic in A...

The nature of forums I think, people come and go.

That has only increased with social media, lots of people just use Twitter and Facebook now.

Re: Who or what is DLVR.IT?

I often see the name DLVR.IT as one of the registered users when I log on to MOT. It's not a user name as far as I can tell - for example, you cannot click on the name the way that you can with a normal user name. It's a bot for https://dlvrit.com/ which posts news stories from the front page onto ...

Re: Court Judgement Announcement On Brexit Process

Well it's all done & dusted so we now can get on with what is required to be implemented I think that's part of the problem, no one knows what's required because no one planned for it beforehand. Cameron sold us down the river and fecked off when he realised there were no paddles. He should hav...

Re: Court Judgement Announcement On Brexit Process

Unfortunately certain powerful people such as Gina Miller, Richard Branson, Nick Clegg, etc who were anti-Brexit are determined to hold up the process, not good as we endeavour to progress forward Thankfully they can't overturn Brexit. If that was the case I would never vote again 1) The referendum...

Re: Court Judgement Announcement On Brexit Process

...I am so glad all the talk of a second vote or something similar has pretty much disappeared as that would have undermined the whole voting system You were saying? Liberal Democrats say they will oppose Article 50 unless there's a second EU referendum http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics...
