Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

The only question I have is, are we being found out? I don't see the games apart from the odd lucky stream so can only go on what you guys write and reports from ESPN etc., and I'm grateful for that, but it means I can't really get the 'feel' of a game like you can when you watch it live. Was alway...

I think you're confusing Shackleton with Edmondson, and personally, I would be happy with a point at Hillsborough.
Agreed, way to soon for must win games..

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread

People again are far too quick to judge Roberts - first match and they were writing him off as not being good enough, second match he was a world beater and then now he is back to being poor again. Fans need to give the lad at least a meaningful run of matches before judging. Looks a decent player,...

Re: Leeds v Birmingham - MAN OF THE MATCH

Alio was not anonymous, he was poor for 90% of the game but he was involved a lot.

Alio for me is the natural Roofe replacement, certainly a good finisher.

Re: Leeds v Birmingham - MAN OF THE MATCH

Passing was poor because the movement wasn't great from our outlet players. Plus Phillips was dire...what on earth was he doing on that run?

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread

I said the same yesterday, it was like watching last seasons team. I really can't agree with this Ges, sorry, last season we gave up on games early, were dominated, out classed frequently. Created nothing at all hardly any shots on or off target ( We had 8 off target shots by half time yesterday) a...

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread

My point is they were all positions we could have scored from, last season you'd struggle to think of 2/3 moments where we came close to scoring in some games..We played poorly by comparison to our top form but still better than most teams in this division and we still dominated the game... There w...

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread

Agree '63 we were really poor limited to few half-chances. one really good save from Dallas & Alioski's fine strike for the goal & a clearance off the line in the first-half were the nearest we came to breaking Brum down. Our form will return at Hillsborough Forshaw shot Ayling across the face of g...

thought we was poor today. no real creativity or penetration . need to move the ball a lot quicker at times especially when teams come with spoil tactics. missed roofe and pablo today. first loss dust ourselfs down lessons learnt and go again.
Yet we created about 8 chances ...

Re: Jack Clarke

Again we agree, I think we mostly see the same things the same way. Clarke has impressed more at U23 level than Edmondson. I guess Edmondson offers a more target man outlet and more physicality in the area but I reckon at 2-0 down MB was wishing we had JC on the bench. I also think it should have be...

Re: Mateusz Klich

When we are trailing Bielsa takes Klich off, seems odd to me. Did the same vs Millwall to. Just strange imo. Yes I can't work that one out either. He was certainly not the problem in midfield today and Forshaw looked worse. Klich can unlock defences at anytime and could have easily scored or create...

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread

Their second was very similar to Harrison' goal recently. A slightly mis hit shot that crept in the corner. I'm not blaming either keeper for that.

I'm not a big Cave fan myself, some interesting stuff, Grinderman springs to mind and the Ballad of Robert Moore and Betty Coltrane is excellent. I also like Lover Man.

Re: Kalvin Phillips

Poor today but coming off easily his best performance in mid week. I'm ok with him staying at DMF but Forshaw must be pushing him.
