Re: 2019 Women's World Cup

Interesting that the save of the tournament is a save you'd expect every league goalkeeper to make right through the divisions...Also see there's a movement to make pitches smaller to cut down on the frequent giving away of possession.

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

Good footballer Forshaw, no coincidence that the Villan who posted here was worried about him if we made the final

Didn't like him as a player. Bang out if order shagging his sister in law and gagging his wife in the press. Time will tell as Wales' coach.
Must have been a hell of a gig

Re: Player Profile : Pontus Jansson

Retain? I'm not sure to be honest, love him as a player but would like to see him as a team player more not a loner playing as a very very good CB. Partnership with Coop is not working very well, I'm not sure we can go in to 19/20 with this as our CB unit. If we got a great offer from the prem I'd p...

I didn't score it

Retain obviously and I am a fan, always have been

Score for this seasons body of work is an 8 for me. This is not an average of MOTM scores it's a score for the whole season. If it were an average score it would be around a 7

Re: Player Profile : Tyler Roberts

Difficult one Tyler, didn't play, for me, in his natural position and has yet to fulfill potential which I think he has in spades. He is only 20 Obviously a keep but not start as yet, And for the seasons body of work a 6.0 - Remembering he wasn't a first choice and didn't start more than half the ga...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 14th June)

I'm not sure Roofe is on that list tbh, we may sell but if we did I don't think it would be to a Prem club. It'd either be in division which would be stupid in my opinion, giving one of our rivals a top class championship striker. (He'd probably rip our defence a new one as it stands,) or maybe Rang...

Re: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

Imo it doesnt matter if BPF is a good keeper or not because he isnt a sweeper keeper. MB wants a sweeper keeper, our style demands it. Kiko imo 75% of the time gets his judgement spot on when coming off his line and that is vital, the keeper has to be willing to take that risk, BPF isnt at this sta...

He's not burning his bridges is all that is...Hands up if anyone expected him to say he can't wait to get out of Leeds and get paid a lot more money? ..

Klich was always available in & around the box
That's because he was so good and made clever runs but he wasn't a forward midfielder and as such double figures is outstanding

Was a decent amount, he was playing in a attacking position though
He was playing as our centre midfielder not as the attacking mid or number 10

find of the season . seems his loan spell away as benefited us both .
deffo retain.
now he needs to pop up with a few more goals this season.
7.5
Double figures from a non attacking centre mid position ... I'd say that was outstanding.

Re: Player Profile : Mateusz Klich

Player of the season for me too, obviously. Has to stay and does all the dirty work in the middle of the park while making clever runs and scoring goals. Probably the best passer we have too

Would take an exceptional talent to replace him so bench is doubtful

Season score 9.5

Bielsa should insist that Phillips is not for sale
I'd imagine it'd be Bielsa initiating any sale...he's had the discussion, heard what he wanted, signed on for another year so a lot of off season stuff will follow his agenda I would think.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 13th June)

Costa and Harrison on the wings would be nice...Biggest need then would be an AMF or two. Right now I don't like any of the starting options. In order of quality Phillips (I'd be ok starting Phillips at AMF but I doubt MB wants to move him if we keep him) Pablo (Never looked comfortable playing cent...
