Re: Leeds Utd v Wigan Athletic Match Thread

God I was annoyed yesterday, but as they say it ain't over till the fat lady sings. Blunts I'm pretty confident won't take maximum points. We can but christ it has to be better than the shower of s**t performance yesterday. I really hope Bielsa makes changes, stubborness is not a good trait in anyo...

Re: Leeds Utd v Wigan Athletic Match Thread

Another factor in our inconsistency is that our recruitment has been generally poor this year: Brown - injured, and not played now he's not injured Baker - shite Blackman - not played and then got a season ending injury Bamford = injured a lot, then can be hit or miss Casilla - the one real success...

I agree.

1 more season here to bring out the youngsters, get some better players in, and I think we will win this league next year, and a lot sooner than the last 3 games.

Then we will be ready to go up.... because as BG says, we are not ready this year.

Can you give us all some semblance of the expectation & relevance to our plight. Oh Weasel mate once more lift our gloom and help inspire us to a more lofty place through encouragement and optimism.

Thanks Nick, unfortunately I didn't check our racing thread until after the racing had finished due to watching that fiasco at ER yesterday

Yes I did think Power Of Darkness could go in again after it's victory the previous day, obviously connections didn't :|

Re: Bottled it

Hi 64, That was a crushing blow yesterday, I didn't watch it and pleased I didn't as I'm fuming enough. The two gaosl they got seemed like soft gifts by us. Even the physically big or supposedly tough players we have like Jansson, Cooper, Berardi and Bamford often seem to get shoved off the ball. B...

Re: Jack Harrison

Jack can head back to Manchester as soon as possible for me

Had the ball in 30 yards of space so often yesterday.....can't pass, can't cross, can't beat a man apart from himself

Easy to see why Citeh offloaded him to us last summer

Showboating !

All those dummy's/back-heels

We're not good enough to showboat, not only that it was showing a lack of respect to the opposition who in the end handled our soft bellied players with considerable ease.

Re: Bottled it

We are likely to know for certain if we've totally bottled it by tomorrow night Our pool of players are basically small, soft bellied & easily bullied, we have no pace & we can't cope with pace so we are always vulnerable I fear the dreaded play-offs are imminent, whether we have enough bottle to ha...

Re: Leeds Utd v Wigan Athletic Match Thread

Well I didn't see that coming  up there with one of our worst performances of the season. One up at home against ten men playing a team with the poorest away record in the championship. It really seemed that we were the team with one light, truth is we were thirteen short as only one player c...

Bamford.

Better striker, more of a threat in every way.

And clearly Roofe isnt match fit, 0 impact at all since he came back whatsoever.

Roofe needs matches to get fit, a luxury we dont have.
Like a rusty old bin today

Taking off Roberts for Roofe today was ludicrous :chair:
