Re: 64's Bowls....

Well we just got there this afternoon to maintain our unbeaten run Don openly admitted he had a stinker which put the pressure on. We were coasting the game when between us we gave our opponents eight points through pure bad luck. We went into the final end three down which would have cost us the ma...

His Bilbao side only had 23 players in it, pretty amazing they got to two finals really and its little wonder they were knackered by the end, they had played 60 odd games.
I maybe wrong but I suspect that Bilboa side had more quality in & outside the first XI than Bielsa has at Leeds

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 13th Nov)

Makes you wonder if its really by choice on Bielsas part that the squad is limited or is it Rads doing? I know what Bielsa said but havent heard of a coach yet that wouldnt want to strengthen if resources were available Why would you jeopardise your chances of promotion I ask ? Truth is we have dro...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 13th Nov)

17 players have started for us in 17 games, Shacks with 1 start and Forshaw with 3, so 15 for the majority. He doesnt make changes easily and maybe we are seeing the stubborn side of Bielsa. To be fair he doesn't have many options to change things, Bielsa has managed Leeds magnificently keeping us ...

Re: Pontus Jansson - Baby Bella!!!!!!!!

Probably isnt but needs must an all that. Just have to hope Pontus is ok, as you say Philips or any other 1st team option will make us even more vulnerable at set pieces. We're vulnerable all over the park mate, Saiz appears to be are only game-changer off the bench, after that you're looking at yo...

Re: Mega Favourite Song Poll Round 12 - NOMINATE NOW

I'd just give Waiting for the bus the edge over La Grange but nothing in it The other half is a New Order fan and indeed saw their first set at Glastonbury but I'm not so much. Not a great love of that era electro outside of maybe some very early OMD (Red Frame etc) and obviously post Clarke Depech...

SONG OF 2017

Country-ish but don't give up on it after the first few notes

Karen Grotberg's vocals are gorgeous

Ray & his band finish off what is a really catchy infectious song

Brilliant

Early New Order when they very good, reminds me of my time working in Manchester

From their best album 'Lowlife'

The instrumental part from 4min 16secs onwards is fecking brilliant, saw them play it at the Hacienda, magic night

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 13th Nov)

Good Morning Everyone Pontus Jansson has withdrawn from the Swedish squad to face Turkey and Russia after picking up a foot injury in the second half of the Baggies game. He joins Berardi and Ayling on the treatment table (both not expected back until the New Year). To make matters worse Tom Pearce...
