Roberts first, for the wonderful pass, his superb first touch and then the beautifully waited chip.
Ditto, or even weighted. Allan Clarke would have been proud of that finish.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 20th Sept)

I'm not thinking ahead of Birmingham, but I'd rather be top than bottom.

You mean that Iago Aspas who has played in the last 5 Spanish internationals ?. Err OK.

I didn't need my Dad to tell me not to wear red. I also would love to bring JM home in the near future.

Re: Leeds v Preston - MAN OF THE MATCH

Harrison
Roberts
Phillips
Pontus
Samu
Douglas

Klich would have been well in there, if he had finished one of his two chances.

Re: your first leeds utd game live

10th March 1962 - Leeds United 2 Swansea Town 0 - Bobby Collins (on his debut) and Billy McAdams. I did go to another game 3 or 4 years earlier, when I was 6, but I have no clue who we were playing or the score. I can only remember a giant John Charles tousling my hair before the match.

Re: Leeds Utd v Preston Match Thread

Really enjoyed that game, as I have most of them this season. I thought we played some super stuff, and there were some cracking performances, MOM is going to be a struggle again. Nice to see the backup players coming into their own. I thought Harrison was excellent, and unlucky not to be on the sco...

Re: First Car

Mine was a 1970 Red mk1 Ford Escort 1300E. Wish I still had it, paid £300 for it, fetching upwards of £6000 now. Ditto, except mine was pale blue. Paid £250 for it. Three months later it was stolen and wrapped around a lamp post. Got £600 off of the insurance. Invested in a beautiful white Triumph ...

Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread

Finished 2-2. A comical own goal by the Wednesday keeper, and a header by Jack Clarke. Had to work hard to get the point, as we only had 10 for most of the second half. Injuries to Davis and Shaughnessy. The latter after we had used all 3 subs. 45 mins runouts for Baker and Forshaw. Blackman played ...
