Re: Bamford vs Firmino

Tis a joke of a thread Dan  Imagine watching Firmino every week :-D I mean if you think its a joke you perhaps don't understand my point. Its not that Bamford is better or as good as Firmino. Its about his style of play and how it helps those around him. If Harrison and Costa were scoring goal...

Re: Bamford vs Firmino

firmino is a cf not a striker - he has Mane and Salah supplying the goals (plus has 5 more assists!) and is not missing guilt edged chances every game... this thread    I maybe wasn't as clear as i should have been with my first post. I am not saying for a second Bamford is anywhere ...

Re: Losing Faith?

The best chairman we’ve had at the club since relegation. Genuinely loves the club and is passionate about it. Best manager we’ve had since relegation. Playing the best and most effective football since relegation. I for one am staying positive and anyone aiming their frustration by abusing the play...

Bamford vs Firmino

I’ve been saying for a while I feel Bamford gets more stick than he should because those around him aren’t scoring enough. Both players play the number 9 role and have similar work rate and impact on the way their teams play. I’m not saying Bamford is as good as firmino btw. Bamford 12 goals 2 Assis...

Re: So who is to blame?

Perhaps you do not understand the use of analogy, but in any case some of us have ambitions for the club. I want us to be promoted as much as anyone on here and I understand your attempt of an analogy. In the context of “who’s to blame” it didn’t work. It would have been better as... You’ve been in...

Re: So who is to blame?

As one poster mentioned it's a culmination of factors. Biesla for picking the same players week in week out, sticking to a system that's currently falling. Applying the same methods and expecting a different result, that's worrying. Radz for sanctioning the sales of Viera, Jansson, Woods, Cooke, Ta...

Re: So who is to blame?

Sorry that is a bit like man meets beautiful lady, they are such a great match, they enjoy a whirlwind romance, discuss marriage, starring a family, building a life together. Then she leaves him standing in the church, heart in bits and mortgaged to the hilt. He has run off with his best mate. No a...

Re: So who is to blame?

What do you want from the season? Watching enjoyable football but not worried if we get success? Then you're right. You're also right the positives outweigh the negatives by a distance...problem is the negatives will probably kill our season. It like enjoying a car drive at high speed with everythi...

I don't understand the need to "blame" myself.

The positives far outweigh the negatives and I genuinely enjoy watching this team every game.

Re: January Transfer Window And Squad Discussion

With you on that one V . Leeds knew the score 12 months ago regarding our strikers then alarmingly got a totally inexperienced kid in to replace our main goal threat and through no fault of his own didn't get a chance to prove anything before going back to Arsenal with us having spent 3mil and noth...

Re: Bamford cannot start another game for LUFC

Has let us down more times than I can count this season, and today his abysmal effort lead to frustration form the players who all work hard to set up chance after to chance for him..which lead to Kalvin's frustration and red card I reckon 100 plus chances for his 7 or 8 goals and I think that's ge...

And that's why the thread was closed. Not because admin/mods support one view or the other, just that it is a divisive subject. Let's get back to talking about the football. But... and im honest here... My favourite two players are Harrison and Bamford...... Close the thread ;-) See ya been a pleas...

Re: Goodbye (leaving the Forum)

Pity you're leaving Rad, from time to time tempers rise, mainly on the type of threads that was locked, I always stay away from them, hopefully you will give it a couple of days and have a rethink, whatever your final decision, good luck. Tbh though, this is still the friendliest forum out there, I...
