Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Hope Pontas gets a good reception but hammered during the game. Can see him acting the pantomime villain, which will do him no favors.

Leeds 3-1

Like to see Costa and Eddie have at least 30 mins each as well. Knowing MB he will not change it to much tho.

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Leeds have lost only one of their past 13 home league matches against Brentford (W6 D6 L1), a 0-1 reverse in February 2015.

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Resting Pablo is nonsense as well. When he plays well, so do the rest of the team and we win games. IF hes off form maybe rest him and draft in someone else, and we've Costa a perfect swap. Liek to see them both start together tho, sounds exciting that.

Re: Leeds Utd v Brentford Match Thread

Big game, and in front of home support we need to win this. Elland Road needs to be a fortress again. We should have enough to see this out. Clean sheet would be very nice as well. We keep a clean sheet we will win the game. Don't care for the PJ link anymore. Yeh give him a cheer before and at the ...

Completed more passes than any other outfield Wigan player as well.

Great keeper, settled in slowly, difficult for keepers generally anyway, more pressure in the position and not speaking English. Massively improved in recent weeks though.

Re: Salford City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

I don't want to see many changes at all tonight personally, Id like to see the main lads starting. Bamford needs games and goals. For me it'll be a massive confidence booster for him to play and bag a couple. Rest a couple of the bid midfielders, Phillips, Kilch maybe, Give Costa a start over Hernan...

I'm pretty sure Rita Ora is and has been working away in the back ground with regards to the transfer window close season. I'm they have two lists, one for Promotion and one for Championship, so depending on what happens over the next few weeks will depends on what list we will go for depending on b...

Re: Bielsa Pre Preston

Clarke seemed to get tackled to easily against Brum, to predicable?

Good to see Roofe back an start,,, believe Bamford should continue upfront, just need that bit of luck, not like he played badly, hit the post couple a goods saves keep him out.

Re: Leeds Utd v Swansea City Match Thread

Glad you enjoyed the game Lev Now you've seen Phillips in the flesh & the way he strolls around the pitch with comparative ease of a top defensive midfielder. A class performer, you can see why the Leeds fans have labelled him 'Yorkshire's Pirlo' Definitely too close to call between Pontus & Philli...

Re: Leeds Utd v Swansea City Match Thread

Just back home after that. Overall MASSIVE 3 points! Man that was needed. Think everyone’s already kinda covered it but first half complete total domination. Should have put to bed and finished before half time. Second half made hard work of it, at times we could have countered and attacked quickly ...

Wednesday evening!!!!! Its been a while!!!! Canna wait!!!

Roll on Wednesday night........ It's my return to Elland road after a 6 year absence (Working in Bahrain). The last time I was able to attend a game Luke Varney scored the winner in a 2-1 victory against Spurs in the FA Cup. How different does this side look now a days huh? That alone kinda puts it ...

Ye Raheny’s one of the nicest areas of the Northside. From Harold’s Cross on the Southside myself. Are you from Leeds mate? Okay nice, not far from the Teeling distillery then!? No buddy, from Derby originally. So it was hilarious with all the spy-gate crap. Derby fans have a HUGE hatred towards Le...

Going blind in the morning whilst driving to work by the RIDIC bright sun. Frostbite, lost fingers and toes. Yellow snow. Hidden dog s**t.

Apart from them, massive fan of winter.

I live in Dublin mate. Yeah January and February are by far the coldest months of the year. Where are you based yourself?
North Side buddy, Raheny. Great little spot tbh. Love it. How about ya self?
