Re: Films / TV

Never watched 'Dr. Who' on a really regular basis but can't help being suckered into this one.

Re: Gambling..........

That's some good advice John, although normally I prefer not to gamble - I don't consider myself proficient in the art and generally consider myself lucky to retain the money I've got without risking it even on sports betting. Call me super-wussy if you want.

Not a bad thing tbh. I do feel better for not over-imbibing though.

Yeah, ges is right - a suitable candidate for a 'Like' button.
2 Mods to harass our glorious leader into submission - although I don't think Adam's a soft touch these days.
How about it lads - a big push for the 'Like' button - solve a few other little niggles whilst we're at it.

Re: What are you doing today ?

To answer the thread question, I'm doing as little as possible whilst trying to look industrious. Unfortunately it's a no-win situation as long as even 1 eyelid droops as far as a mousefart would send it. I don't know why I'm worried really - Debbie and a couple of her friends have taken off on a mi...

I think the only dance for me would be the one-legged Glasgow dance-hall exit routine as demonstrated by Billy Connolly.

So, there you have it old fruit. Your efforts are appreciated - I certainly get a smile out of them and appreciate the effort you put into tracking them down.
Don't give up on your art Hector - the twisted kind is always more slaverable, as they say in Looneyville.

Muppet the Cat » Sun Oct 14, 2018 1:29 pm I absolutely appreciate your points BB and 63, but I just don't think you can castigate the whole country for the actions of a mindless few. :moggy: I realise passions are high, maybe deservedly so, but it was a very limited number of people involved all th...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 12th Oct)

The Pontus transformation alone is a wonderful achievement. I think MB took the hard decisions first - get the most important, basic steps right and the rest will follow.
It is so uplifting to be able to support a worthy team instead of a collection of ragtags.

Re: Friday's Poem** Sweary**

That may have been Hector's opening salvo at our excellent financial organisations - I'm willing to listen to a limited amount of 'red' on that score - apart from that, White Rose rules. The L.N.E.R. had it right, they named 1 express passenger train "The White Rose" and another "The West Riding Lim...

That was a great shout from that young man on the video about Pontus and Alioski. We have a good team lasses and lads - it will get better after this difficult time. We have the makings of a really good, well-balanced side. ..and yes, you have been supporting Pontus Leon, and recognising Alioski's c...

Re: Croatia v England - 7.45pm tonight

You'd think that remedial points could have been set against this punishment by Croatia's supporters' better behaviour in the World Cup, especially as it included a final game.

We can only hope things rebound somewhat sometime soon Dalton - I feel for you old son.

Let's hope in a relatively short time you're able to look back on it as a 'learning experience' and you see your nest egg begin to grow again.

My wishes go with you.
