Re: Sky Loves LUFC

Love this, and the fact that teddies are being thrown out of prams all over the place!! Fact is, we're a crowd puller for Sky; either our own fans who can't get to games, or opposition fans hoping to see us get pasted. All the moaners need to accept that Leeds v anyone is a bigger draw than practica...

Re: whats on the menu tonight ladies n gentlemen !

My dad comes over on a Thursday to look after our Ruby. Because my mum has him on such a short dietary leash (had a quadruple by-pass a few years back and has diabetes), he'll be angling for a takeaway. I can hear cod, chips and mushy peas calling!!

Re: No sleep last night ( a true story) Update

Brilliant, Hector, thread of the year so far! I love the fact that whilst you were sleeping on stag (glasshouse for you!), the cheeky wee fecker nabbed the carrot AND took a sh*t in the bag you planned on capturing him in!!

Beano AND Dandy - I wuz rich. Also, prior to 15/2/71, pounds, shillings & pence - 240 pennies in the pound. Thank goodness inflation after 15/2 was limited to amounts under a pound. IIRC a Mars Bar was 6 old pence but it damned near quickly got to 6 new pence after the changeover. You're not far of...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 20th Sept)

Morning Matt, I think it's too early to talk about pressure. I fully expect us not to be top all season, but hope we can stay in and around the promotion places. If we can continue to play the way we have been, then we should be in the mix come Easter, and that's when the pressure will ramp up. More...

Roberts' first, a sublime chip which showed the lad's confidence wasn't knocked from having missed a few. Cracking ball from future England player KP too! ;-)

Re: Liam Cooper

Captain Chaos has done very well Pontus has been even better in the last two games I see you're persisting with this tag, Leon. A touch unfair, in my view, Cooper has been very solid this season. No-one in the defence has been faultless, but Liam has been as consistent as all the others. He might p...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 19th Sept)

Afternoon Matt, Great to get 3 points after a run of creditable draws, and a good performance to boot (though it does have to be said that Preston were poor). Could easily have been 6 but for some wayward finishing. Delighted for Roberts to get his goals, showed a great touch for the first one. Hope...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 18th Sept)

Harris is a pr*ck, was as a player, is as a manager. Couldn't give a flying f**k what he says

Shame for Connor, hopefully nothing too serious.

We need Roofe and Hernandez back asap, missed them both on Saturday.
