Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 23 May)

Morning Ell,

No thanks re Byram, don't think we need him, tbh

No surprise the bookies have the three relegated clubs as favourites to go up, but it doesn't always work that way. And, as H says, way too early to be calling that one, up or down.

Re: Berardi/Vieira

He got the last laugh though didn't he Nick - from plank to successful Premiership striker, and boy do we miss him. He did, Norm, and I ate several slices of humble pie! Just shows what a conditioning and striking coach can do, Beattie and the back room staff deserve a lot of credit for the big man...

Up until last season, I dodged any issue with our big kiwi by referring to him as 'plank'.Worked well, I thought

Re: Mega Fave Song Decade RD 5. Semi-Finals - HELP PLEASE ?

No way I'm fighting Sandra; if she can handle liggy, she'll throw me about like an empty tracksuit!!!

To move things on, I'll fall on my sword. Put Baker Street through, Leon, The Doors will wipe the floor with Rafferty anyway!

Re: Director of Football

I suspect part of the problem might be the style (or lack thereof) of football that PH employs. Radz and Orta, rightly or wrongly, want to adopt a continental style. Players were bought, predominantly for the junior sides admittedly, with that in mind. PH has identified two journeymen from his old c...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 22 May)

Ok, so not all Feckingarse's fault, I don't think anyone's claiming that he it was, but he did nothing to steady the ship, which was surely the minimum expected of him when he took over. Folk say players weren't performing, let him down etc, but why was that? Didn't they rate him (understandable giv...

Afternoon Ell, My poor dead Grandmother is better than Feckingarse! No to Carvahal, failed at Wendies and took Swansea down Gunn is a good young keeper, who earned rave reviews in a bang average Norwich team this season. Buy why a loan only; if he's the real deal, then buy him? Club before country e...

Morning 1304, the agreement with Carpi is nothing more than a gentleman's agreement! Ahh, but a midfielder that can keep the ball? Yes, if Rad's making money off ER, that's more money he could invest! Morning Ell, Really hope we don't buy him, we need better than a Serie B striker Forshaw and Vieir...

Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 21 May)

Jerry and his president can do one. Either the club is desperate for money or they want rid cos he's not very good. My money's on a combination of both! CH, striker and keeper should be our main priorities, we're overburdened with midfielders I watched the fight on Saturday night, ER looked good and...

Re: Josh Warrington

Good spot, liggy, as Selby has now said that he won't fight at the weight again, too difficult to make. But let's take nothing away from Josh, who fought brilliantly from start to finish. Our boy Carl Frampton in Belfast next up apparently
