Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 21 May)

Morning 1304, the agreement with Carpi is nothing more than a gentleman's agreement! Ahh, but a midfielder that can keep the ball? Yes, if Rad's making money off ER, that's more money he could invest! Morning Ell, Really hope we don't buy him, we need better than a Serie B striker Forshaw and Vieir...

Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 21 May)

Jerry and his president can do one. Either the club is desperate for money or they want rid cos he's not very good. My money's on a combination of both! CH, striker and keeper should be our main priorities, we're overburdened with midfielders I watched the fight on Saturday night, ER looked good and...

Re: Josh Warrington

Hi Nick, Warrington and his camp have come out today and said that three months is too soon to be ready for another fight. I believe Windsor Park is already booked for Aug 18.....too soon for Josh to recover from last night and then get in shape for Carl Frampton. Morning swannie. You're right on b...

Should be a good one... and I'm told Carl supports Leeds..
Has the makings of a great fight, Haighy; as neither are big hitters, it could be a proper toe-to-toe tear up

Re: Josh Warrington

Good spot, liggy, as Selby has now said that he won't fight at the weight again, too difficult to make. But let's take nothing away from Josh, who fought brilliantly from start to finish. Our boy Carl Frampton in Belfast next up apparently

I'd rather watch my own execution. £30 million to stage, when millions in this country go hungry.

Some of Stockdale's howlers last season, made Wiedwald look like Buffon. Plus he is carrying too much weight, and a 40k per week wage slip.
To be honest, Gandi, I've not seen him play this past season. That doesn't sound like the Stockdale from a few seasons back who looked a really solid keeper

Phil Hay reporting that Swansea will listen to offers for Bartley, who's preferred destination is ER. Rangers are supposedly interested, but why would he go to a league that is L1 standard at best? And Rangers are sh*te!!

Yes, he's only played 5 games, but those who have seen him play seem to be in agreement that the boy is a bit special and looks to have all the attributes to make it. We never adequately replaced Charlie Taylor, why let what appears to be a ready-made replacement go? Faaip may have slightly exaggera...

Quick browse over a cup of coffee then I must get on !

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 18 May)

What liggy said. I firmly believe the first thing we should be doing is getting in a manager with some sort of positive reputation, a name who will make it easier for us to attract the type of players we need to get us out of this league. Who would you rather sign for, Feckingarse or Billic/Karanka/...

Re: Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 14 May)

I'm with faaip and Gandi on this, Radz has never been involved in a football club before and, in fairness, it has shown with certain things he's done. But as I've said before, running a football club, even recognising that football is now a business, is unlike anything Radz will ever have done befor...
