Re: Jack Harrison - Lampard is my idol

I think he's going to have a big season. He looked really up for it during the Australia trip, so I'm hoping he continues the trend.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 24th July) - Gibson swap deal, No interest in Sawyers and a good dilemma to ha

I would be surprised if we didn't try to sign another CB actually and there seems to be a lot of different links at various times, so I am expecting it to happen. I don't see any other major signings, as I think we have enough cover across the park currently. From the players listed, I don't really ...

Glad you & your wife got to see Leeds Kyle, must have been a great experience for you both. Now you realised what I have to endure in the majority of our games  great to watch but my god we don't half make hard work of winning games. We cannot expect or rely on Pablo saving our hides every...

Re: Match Thread - WS Wanderers vs Leeds United (Sat 20th July)

What a whirlwind couple of days this was. Ended up flying down on the Saturday morning and flying back on the Sunday. It was well worth it though and we had an amazing time. I ended up losing my wife temporarily at half time. I went to the bathroom and when I came out she had disappeared, but with a...

I don't see the country being that big really. A 5.5 hour plane flight from Brisbane to Perth seems pretty normal to me, so I will be organising my tour schedule ;-)

Re: West Brom v Leeds Utd Match Thread

It seems that either this league is crap or our coach is great, because we have been challenging for the top spot all season despite all those allegedly decidedly average players that we have. My theory is both options are correct. If so many of the teams around us hadn't dropped so many points, I ...

Re: Neil Warnock on the play-offs....

I can see his logic. Fulham in the playoffs would create some headaches if I'm honest. End of season form can go a long way and that is why I feel we need to win tonight.

It's a must win for me. It is getting to that point where we have a buffer, but can't afford to drop points.

Re: Goal line technology

I support goal line technology as it is pretty much an instant decision due to the sensors. VAR's, which Harry has spoken about is another story. More time will be needed to determine whether this is a viable option and at the current time I am in the camp of being against it. I am all for being pro...

Good morning folks The 4th round of League Cup was drawn last night & matched us against Norwich at ER 1a) Are you happy we got a home draw v Norwich which won't be easy It isn't the glamour fixture, but it definitely an achievable win to progress to the next round. Would prefer to win, than hav...

Re: Cardiff v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH

Tough one for me. I thought a few players did well today, but I am going to go with Sacko. Purely because he did a lot with the ball today, but he did an immense job defensively off the ball also. I could see it on TV that he was working incredibly hard to cover Ayling and I personally thought he pl...

Re: Cardiff v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

Poor game of football. Our poor defending at set pieces has let Cardiff hit the woodwork twice and their poor defending has gifted us two good chances. Sacko is our one player with that extra bit of class. Our set piece defending is something that concerns me. Cardiff had quite a few chances, which...

Re: Leeds v Blackburn.

A little ray of sunshine perhaps - the first home win of the season, even if we weren't totally in control. This is why I don't tend to comment on games unless I see them on TV. I have had people telling me we were completely dominant and others saying we weren't great. Depends what you...

Re: Tuesday's Breakfast Quickfire Debate

I don't watch the Premier League this season as TV rights in Australia have gone tits up (but that is a different discussion I will not go into). However, due to this, I do get Championship, League 1 and 2 games. I enjoy watching all of the lower leagues as the teams are reasonably equal. Of course ...
