Re: Kyle Bartley

Swansea wanted £8m last year before he signed a new contract, so we'd be looking at £10m+ for him, not worth anywhere near that! I'd rather sign Huth or Collins on a free. I've always liked Huth SG90...wouldn't mind him at ER....especially if Swansea are asking 10m for Bartley. He was brilliant for...

Throughout Wood's career at Leeds, Thom Kirwin (on LUTV) used to call him Woods, it drove me crazy.
Me too Harry, I found myself yelling at him "it's Chris WOOD for goodness sake!". Why didn't anyone at LUTV ever tell him he got it wrong.....every time! :x

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 22 May)

Morning Ell, I pretty much agree with everything that Gandi said. Carvalhal is nothing too special in my opinion. I thought he would have done a lot better at Wednesday and kept Swansea up. If we are going to sign a new keeper, than I would also prefer someone more experienced, someone that BPF can ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 21 May)

Good Morning Everyone What does everyone think of Elland Road being turned into a boxing ring last weekend? Should we expect more of the same in the future? Is it good for the club / City? Good Afternoon EB, I don't think our very own bechio bear was at all impressed with Elland Road being turned i...

Re: Josh Warrington

Thanks to Josh I had to walk home last night  I went to my son's apartment at Brewery Wharf to cook Japanese food for his birthday. Had a lovely night and then asked Joe (son) to call a taxi. The taxi that usually costs £8 was now £30. Pffft thought me, I will trot off to the train station an...

Re: Josh Warrington

Good spot, liggy, as Selby has now said that he won't fight at the weight again, too difficult to make. But let's take nothing away from Josh, who fought brilliantly from start to finish. Our boy Carl Frampton in Belfast next up apparently Hi Nick, Warrington and his camp have come out today and sa...

Re: O/T Royal Wedding

My understanding (and I write this from 4.00 miles away) is that the money the British government spend on the royal family is derived from the profits of the Crown Estate. The tourism value of the royal family is greater than what I stated earlier, apparently...... http://theconversation.com/fact-...

Re: O/T Royal Wedding

Not if you open up all the residences to the public. If millions are prepared to come and gaze at these places from the outside, imagine how many more you'd get if you let them in. Hi Andy, I honestly think that the reason people come to 'gaze' at these places is because The Royal Family reside the...

Phew. Saw the topic title and thought it was about me. :rol: Definately not John :) I just felt that the presenter was saying that 'Marching On Together' was more of a Nicola, Josh and Rhinos song than the Leeds United anthem these days........and I love it that MOT has been adopted by our other Le...

Re: Josh Warrington

It was a brilliant performance from Josh. I too didn't expect it but he gave everything. Looked like a fantastic atmosphere at ER and to see Radebe walk out with him and into the ring was special. And what a performance from Nicola Adam, she certainly didn't hang about!

What an absolute twit!

Watching Josh Warrington v Lee Selby on BT Sport this evening, the ex Sky presenter announced "from South Yorkshire" we are at Elland Road, home of Leeds United..... ... Then, after Josh won a fantastic fight, against all odds.....the same plonker, announced that "Marching On Together...
