So, how are we all bearing up? I took myself to the doctors this week, i've had a cough for over a year now :shock: Last Christmas culminated with me having pneumonia and then bronchitis :evil: Never got rid of the cough but just soldiered on. The 15-year-old Bowmore is my favorite, but the Macallan is pretty special. Scotland's great gift to the world. I've only had the 12 year old Bowmore John. The islay malts are my faves. I always look forward to a bottle of Laphroag (not the new Select...yuk), the original for birthdays and Christma...

To be honest ges, I don't think they know one whisky from another. It was just a bottle of whisky to them. I did have a bit of a shock when I looked it up :)

Where did you purchase the Macallan malt from Swannie ? It was a gift to Mr Swan 64. He helped some friends of ours with their computer and they sent him home with the macallan. They aren't whisky drinkers so I can only assume someone bought it for them. They know we love our whiskies and we are pa...
