Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 10th Dec)

Morning all. The issue is Pablo missed the last one, so I get why Roofe wanted to take it. Saiz, Alioski and Klich are also good penalty takers. Let's see if Leitner is banned then like Jansson was. Of course not, just like Michael Dawson wasn't. I pay no attention to bookies. They know Leeds...

Re: FA cup

It’s not either Leon. The match is not actually being shown by a UK Broadcaster. Apparently the FA signed a new broadcast contract with overseas television which means a substantial amount of games can be switched for foreign tv. http://www.thefa.com/news/2018/dec/06/fa-cup-on-tv-third-round-061218...

First game I'm missing this season SG

Is it on the BBC or Sky ?
I should be able to get a ticket in the home end, providing stands aren't shut. Just gotta keep quiet all game, very difficult though!

Re: Quest hate Leeds

Colin Murray said he'd like us to go up last week tbf, though he said the same about the Blunts too. Holloway loves Bielsa, Warnock is still bitter that we replaced him with Charlie Taylor and Dean Ashton sometimes praises us, particularly about our youth development, and other times gives us no cre...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 7th Dec)

The worry for me is all the teams around us are parachute payments teams and Forest and Derby have billionaire owners, so we won't be able to compete with them in January. I don't read too much into Bielsa's comments tbh. I'm sure the club are looking at reinforcements, AK already confirmed we're go...

Lewis Cook

It seems the LUFC injury curse has spread to our ex players now!

Cook has ruptured his ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

Get well soon Lewis

Re: Injury List

Fancy some good news!!!!!!! For the first time Bielsa HAS said both Izzy Brown and Paddy Bamford are available for selection. Not like Bielsa to rush players through, be interesting to see if either make the bench on Saturday. Wow. Bamford's recovered very quickly. Hopefully we ease them in rather ...

Re: Jack Clarke

So two clubs who don't play youth and are full of young players rotting are after Jack? Yeah right. Just lazy journalism or agents trying to get more money for him. He's signed up to 2022 so there's no rush atm.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 6th Dec)

Morning all. Villa unfortunately are after Heaton and we won't be able to compete with them on the wages front, so makes sense looking elsewhere. I've never heard of Woodman, so not bothered. I don't want someone less experienced than BPF anyway. There's many out of favour GKs in the PL, Fraser Fors...

Re: Stumped For A Title

To a large degree we have done similar with the amount of young players we snapped up last season and then going around paying small fees to get bright prospects from lower clubs. Obviously not on the scale of Chelsea but doing very similar given our smaller budget. Yeah, but Edmondson has already ...

Re: Cooper and Dallas out for 4-6 weeks

We've also Douglas on 4 yellows so we could have only Jansson as a senior defender soon. Saiz and Alioski are also only one yellow away.

Re: Cooper and Dallas out for 4-6 weeks

Well this is just getting ridiculous. I was thinking to myself earlier if Dallas got injured, who'd play RB?

Do we not have any academy RBs? I think Robbie Gotts is and Hosannah as well, but I think he's injured atm.

Re: Stumped For A Title

I think the loan rules will go both ways. It will drive up the prices in some places, but also mean players will have to be sold as they don't want to wait forever for a chance that won't come. Someone like Tammy Abraham for example will be sold but not for silly money as no one would pay it. Panzo ...

Re: Stumped For A Title

I think Sancho getting an England call up will be an eye opener, to players that there are options abroad, but also clubs abroad that there are talented young English players who aren't getting a chance and they could potentially sell for big money. Unfortunately money will still tempt players. Man ...

Re: Jack Clarke

The Scum claiming Man City are "leading the chase" for Jack today. Yawn. I doubt he's going to a club who have lost two talented youngsters because they don't play them and he already turned them down to stay at Leeds. Besides it would take a Rio level bid to take him off our hands. Just the g...

Re: So Long Samu?

Similar to Clarke it may be that Bielsa sees Saiz as being able to have a more positive coming on as a sub. I am sure the last thing a tiring opposition wants to see is Saiz and Clarke coming on. Exactly. If Saiz and Clarke start then who do we have as game changers from the bench, Harrison and Bak...
