Re: Blackburn Rovers v Leeds Utd - MATCH THREAD

didnt watch the game but from the highlights it looked like we rode our luck big time - but doesn't matter, three points is all we need each game now, not good performances! good to see PB scoring again

Re: Positives/Negatives v Blackburn (1 of each only please)

Positive: The way we dominated the second half after Blackburn threatened to come back into the match. Would have been easy to be nervy and sat deep but similar to the Fulham second half we imposed ourselves on the opposition who had probably given everything they had in the first half and simply c...

can't see how or why we can get out of it if promoted but hope we can do otherwise he'll probably turn into another orta's underwhelming signings!

Re: Jean-Kévin Augustin. .Loan deal ended, permanent deal in limbo.

I think for a period of several years the club was blessed with good strikers ; Beckford, Becchio, McCormack and Woods. Since the sale of Woods the club has never come close to having a decent and reliable striker. From what I remember, Beckford used to routinely get a brace in home matches, though...

Re: Positives/Negatives v Luton (1 of each only please)

positive- we did find a breakthrough negative - the lack of creativity is continuing to haunt us...a matter of whether we can put the ball in the back of the net enough times between now and the end of the season, we're painful to watch though, all these little passes outside the box or outside our ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Luton Town - MATCH THREAD

WHY DOES KALVIN TAKE EVERY CORNER, THEY'RE ALL SO BAD? meh, pretty underwhelming half, lots of pressure but a distinct lack of movement and creativity in the final third. Pb, Harrison, Tyler, Klich and Costa all been a bit disappointing. Kalvin finally put in a decent normal corner at the end there!

Cardiff certainly taught us a lesson in terms of taking your chances.

With Fulham on top but a goal behind on Saturday half time was always going to be key. Bielsa saw the issues and made the changes which put us in control of the game.
true the subs were crucial

Re: Bielsa teaches Parker a footballing lesson as Pablo delivers second half masterclass

nice article! I mean I wouldn't say bielsa taught parker a lesson in football - for large chunks of the game we were under a lot of pressure and just defender very well/rode our luck a little bit and were very clinical in front of goal... Would you say Neil Harris taught Bielsa a lesson in football ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Fulham - MATCH THREAD

HUGE RESULT. Could be season defining this one - goes to show how we're better set up agains teams that don't just sit back! Great result - although not a great dominating performance but a good resolute one! Re Ben White can't see a top four club going for him (a) after the jack clarke (scandal?! -...

Re: Leeds Utd v Fulham - MATCH THREAD

barndoor bamford to start with costa and hernandez for roberts if fit (bielsa v rarely changes a line up even after a poor performance) - don't remember poveda doing anything especially good on sunday to warrant a start either, although costa was distinctly average

Re: Leeds Utd v Fulham - MATCH THREAD

Massive match. Do we have enough big game players? My main hope is in the fact that Fulham aren’t a park the bus outfit so we may enjoy a bit more room to operate. My main worry is our keeper. There is now massive pressure on him in this run in. If Pablo is fit he will play it in place if Roberts. ...

Re: Burnley condemns 'White Lives Matter' banner

Unfortunately I think the BLM movement is causing more racial tension I have to agree - especially with it going way too far with things like television shows being amended or removed (little britain etc.). Obviously the original idea/message was very good but it's going so far that it's just start...

Re: Two positives/negatives today

Positives Still dominated the game (at least in terms of possession and general play) Players looked fit Negatives Playing out from the back continues to provide us with problems. We gave the ball away in dangerous areas at least 5 or 6 times and were punished for it twice. Both goals were easily av...
