Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 4th December) Alarming statistic Leeds won't want to replicate this season

we were ten points ahead of sheffield last christmas - burnout or total implosion, we know that we can't read too much into our position at these early stages of the season. For me it must take its toll on the players...

Re: Other fans forum opinions

All teams will 'get away' with decisions but WBA have been awarded penalties in the dying minutes of many games this season of which at least 1 (last night) was a piss poor decision and I bet the others were dubious but its becoming very familiar in their games and it was the only way they were goi...

Re: Other fans forum opinions

But that was last season so doesn’t count   but good point, however the handball was difficult to see in real time the pen last night was obvious haha true, I just mean its swings and roundabouts - some go for you and some against...be interesting to see if edwards gets a ban from the efl...

They should be embarrassed accepting that pen, Corrupt EFL should be looking at it and banning the Baggie player but just checked and they don’t have Leeds anywhere in their name so guessing the CEFL won’t bother
Like when we didn't accept roofes handball goal a while back... Oh wait!

Re: London Bridge Incident

More people are killed by poverty and homelessness than by terrorism. We need a more compassionate society, not a more brutal one. We also need to stop creating the conditions for terror by waging illegal, imperialist wars. There's a bigger picture here than banging up individuals. "More people are...

Re: Unai Emery sacked!

Not at all shocking. A lot of talent on that squad, but neither Emery nor Wenger could ever get them to put side before self. Good luck to the next guy. that's extremely harsh on wenger...often working on a much lower budget than other clubs and won the league with the invincibles....! he gets (unf...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 29th November) - Deal tied up to bring Vydra to Elland Road, Udinese

Probably true, but I have to ask..... If we make it through December unbeaten, we will have run the streak to fourteen consecutive without a loss. What would it be about a fourteen-game unbeaten run that would prompt you to believe a change needs to be made? We've taken 17 points from the last 21. ...

Pablo use to take them but he rarely beat the first man

Costa maybe an option we haven't tried him, he is winger for gods sake. Jack was hopeless with corner-kicks too!
Good idea with Costa... Not a guaranteed starter tho so we will see!

Re: Reading FC v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Cooper starts ahead of Berardi

I don't think it's down to Phillips corners being so bad, we just don't have the height in numbers to trouble anyone. Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk White, Cooper, ayling... All very tall and essentially like having three centre backs. Bamford decent in the air too and quite tall. Not saying it...

Re: Reading FC v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Cooper starts ahead of Berardi

Have to echo what weasel said. The only way this Blitzkrieg works is if the opposition are pressing forward. You can't get behind a defense that's putting nine men behind the ball at all times. I could be wrong, but I think if you look at our run of form this season, we were having more success awa...

Re: Reading FC v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Cooper starts ahead of Berardi

quite a poor performance overall (again dominating possession without creating many chances) - we're going to slip up eventually if something doesn't change - coincidentally the goal came from essentially the only time we broke fast when we won the ball (rather than passing it backwards)

Re: Pablo Hernandez New Contract Signed

Did ok  you are being very harsh on our chief provider Dan :( So 68 successful passes & 17 that went astray, I'd take that from our little magician every time. More impact in the game than his replacement Costa ever provided whilst Pablo was sidelined. 17 misplaced passes is pretty poor, I'd...

Re: Luton Town v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Hernandez starts, Costa and Cooper on the bench

So watching the highlights on Quest and a clearer picture Not a foul by Phillips on Brown. Bamford still profligate It was an own goal Stunning ball from White for Bamford who's finish was excellent but it's a one in 20 occurrence Stunning ball from Berra to Bamford who hit the crossbar. Phillips c...

Re: Luton Town v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Hernandez starts, Costa and Cooper on the bench

this result for me papers over the cracks a bit -yes we are now 3 points clear of third and its a great result but we're having the same problems every single game right now - putting the ball in the back of the net. If it's not bamford or klich missing the chances, then its the opportunity being ru...

Pablo returns & we create more chances than any other game this season Screenshot 2019-11-23 at 22.53.18.png thought he did ok yesterday, nothing special gives the ball away lots (as these stats show) which can be infuriating but he's also always one of the few always trying to make something happen

Re: Pablo Hernandez New Contract Signed

In answer to Dan...... overrated my foot Screenshot 2019-11-21 at 14.00.30.png my issue is more not whether he was good 3 years ago... but whether we will be any good over the next few years (only 2 goals, 2 assists this season) i.e.,i've no doubt about whether he was an absolute class act as a pla...

Re: Pablo Hernandez New Contract Signed

Good to see his loyalty rewarded in this way. A fit Pablo would be first name on the team sheet at every club in the Championship this season and we should be glad that he can focus 100% on getting us out of this league. In my opinion, he's not even first on the team sheet at Leeds let alone clubs ...

Re: Pablo Hernandez New Contract Signed

great player but madness in my opinion, he's already picking up more and more injuries and becoming less consistently effective - if we go up at the end of this season you have to hope we'll have someone younger/better in his position in the prem. I don't really understand the need to rush this one ...

v surprised you haven't picked harrison...took his goal really well! Thought their right back had a good game though...harrison probably should have done better with some of the other chances he got too
