In the Predict 6 competition I had Wigan 1-1 Hull

Thought Hull had something to play for. Apparently they're looking forward to life in League One.

Would just be a shame if our lad Kalvin couldn't play in the game that takes us up.

Not going to touch the Kiko trial thing but Messi is our keeper as far as I'm concerned. He's earned it.

Amen to both.

Re: Today's Games

Well.......... That was a particularly lackluster half of football.

Seems the two sides are more determined not to lose than they are to win, although I don't know why they would be.

Bright start to the Brom/Fulham game with Fulham bringing an attacking lineup.

Best moment was pre game with Keith Andrews not able to even say Leeds' name.

"Another team" he says instead.

Re: Today's Games

A Fulham win today would be wonderful, but Brentford dropping points tomorrow would allow us to clinch automatic promotion with a win on Thursday.

So let's go Preston!

Gutted for the young man. He deserves to be on the pitch when we clinch promotion (assuming we do so).

In 1937 my uncle took me to Elland road for the first time to see Leeds v Sunderland when I was 7 years old and have been an avid supporter ever since, rarely missing a home match until 1967 when my family and I emigrated to this GREAT country of AUSTRALIA, I have always remained a staunch Leeds fan...

Re: Marcelo Bielsa, The kind of man people name stadiums after!

Great post and history lesson, YorkshireSquare. Thank you. Never won any trophies? The 11 players on the pitch are his trophies. The new heart in the city of Leeds is his trophy. Honour is the gift a man gives to himself. No man gives it to him and no man can take it away. Bielsa has untold trophies...

Also, for all Ayling's faults in that game, you can see he's busting every sinew in his body to drive forward in the run leading up to the goal. We don't demand perfection. We demand that grit and determination. And Ayling delivered. You can hold your head up high for that hard work alone, my son. ...

Re: Swansea City v Leeds United - 0-1 - MOTM

8 goals and 7 assists is decent but nothing special. The goals and assists tell only part of the story with Pablo. He reminds me of the great basketball player Magic Johnson in the way he makes everyone around him better. Klich (as 1964white noted) is an obvious example of someone who is significan...

Re: It’s never easy being a Leeds fan, but let’s enjoy every minute of this

I've been a fan since the early 1970's, and I have enjoyed watching this group of players as much as any we've had in all that time. They have such heart, every one of them. They came out this year determined to put the disappointment of last year behind them and are on the cusp of doing just that. ...

Exactly.

I'd be perfectly happy if he never played for us again.

And besides, Meslier is simply a better keeper.
