Re: New Signings

I think we will all happily settle for significant improvement. I'd be happy with 10th, delighted with 8th and, to be honest, slightly apprehensive if we somehow went up. When we go up I want us to be ready to stay up. I think the majority will settle for significant improvement, you will always ge...

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours

I would like to see Agard sign, still young enough to develop and certainly had a very good season in league 1 last year - He has a better goal to game ratio in the professional game (excluding non league) than Matt Smith and he stepped up comfortably enough

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours

You don't need to spend that much to get out of this league as Burnley proved last season even after they sold their top striker to Harry's hoops Agree, I think if MC was to bring in 3/4 players of reasonable quality we would be there or there about's - Surely with the money we have pulled in and s...

Re: Transfers Out and Ex-Player Watch

A straight swap would be a good deal for both Sunderland and Leeds - Not sure the players would agree!!

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours

Yeah, I don't think his career has gone as he would have liked and other than Donny, he has never had a settled period at a club - Stumbling block will be his wages, as we know, Cellino won't pay over the odds!

Re: Transfers Out and Ex-Player Watch

£7 million would be a good shout... I don't think Cellino will splash that amount of cash on 1 player, unless he wanted to make a statement. We certainly have the cash especially if Byram was to leave

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours

i think we should be looking at Patrick Bamford also, another great prospect and the guy knows the way to goal. Bamford deffo fits the profile Cellino is going for. He needs to splash some cash as soon as possible - A decent striker is a must. What is everyone's thoughts on Billy Sharp. Being linke...

As good as this would be, Wickham won't want to drop in to the Championship - Given his excellent run of form at the end of last season he has proved he is a Prem player. He does need to move though, I don't think he will get a fair chance at Sunderland

Re: Supporting Leeds

About 1983 for me, I would have been 7 - My Dad and Grandad took me to ER - I think it was Birmingham and we got beat 3-1, I still have the ticket somewhere. As a Leeds lad, I was never going to be allowed to follow anybody else. Same goes for my boys now - Eldest (9) went to his first game against ...
