Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

A bizzare game really, the result in the end was probably a fair one. We actually started the game well and put Bristol under pressure. Then moments later, 2 set pieces change the whole pattern of the game, poor goalkeeping and poor defending cost us once again. Bristol then started to play some won...

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

Team I would go with have to play Lasogga and Ekuban together imo our best centre mid (Vieira) has to play as well. Just don't see the point of playing wingers atm all of them are totally out of form and Dallas+De Bock should be able to provide the width as Forshaw and Phillips can drop in to protec...

Re: Klich/Christiansen

I'm a fan of Klich and I genuinely think he has done well when he has been given the chance, he did have one absolute shocker at Cardiff but other than that I think he has done quite well and he is our best passer of the ball + most composed midfield player. Out of his 8 chances: Excellent in 2 game...

Re: Match Day squad

Can’t decide between two systems: Option 1 4-2-3-1 Wiedwald Berardi Shaughnessy Jansson De Bock Vieira Forshaw Alioski Saiz Hernandez Lasogga Subs: Lonergan, Anita, Phillips, Dallas, Ekuban, Roberts, Roofe Option 2 3-4-2-1 Wiedwald Shaughnessy Jansson Berardi Dallas Vieira Forshaw De Bock Hernandez ...

Re: Blunts v Leeds - Reports/Ratings

Thought we were much better today particularly in the second-half, at least we were more competitive & made a fist of it. We passed the ball with more efficiency, defended defiantly & at least created a few chances as oppose to the non-event in our last away trip at Hull Unfortunately we still make...

Re: Blunts v Leeds - Reports/Ratings

A disappointing start for Heckingbottom but we did at least play better today and I thought we deserved a point tbh. First half was shocking second half much much better. I thought the team selection was disappointing tbh, Pablo should have started and I wouldn't have dropped Vieira. I thought Ekuba...

Heckingbottom a good appointment

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/heckingbottom.png Fourty year old Paul Heckingbottom may not have been the first name that most Leeds United fans though as their first choice for the vacant head coach job once Thomas Christiansen. With just over 100 games managed under his belt and Barnsley 21st ...

Re: New coach - Paul Heckingbottom

Said the same thing to a couple of mates tonight Oscar, those two are gonna have to pull their socks up now as he's not one for carrying passengers I doubt. Team selection should be interesting once he's settled in & got the best part of his squad back on board Some great points there Oscar especia...

Re: New coach - Paul Heckingbottom

I hope you are right Oscar and you have probably seem more of Barnsley than myself and others. However in your paragraph - 1 win in his last 16 games is a worry but there are most definitely signs that Heckingbottom could be a massive success here and I am optimistic about this tbh. Got to give him...

Re: New coach - Paul Heckingbottom

Heckingbottom wouldn't have been my first choice but I think this is a good appointment. He has done an outstanding job at Barnsley, the job he has done at there is very similar to what Grayson achieved under Bates. After they beat us 3-2 in Jan 2017 they were 4 points off the play offs and one of t...

Re: I'll asked the question again

Go, the results and performances have been poor all season and I just think he is a very average manager/head coach in all honesty, his ideas just don't suit the Championship at all especially since teams have realised what that is and how to counteract it. I would probably be willing to give Christ...

Re: Leeds v Cardiff - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

I've had enough now, Christiansen and Orta have both got to go this is an absolute shambles. That first half just proved how the players are now longer playing for Christiansen I didn't like the body language from the start of a lot of the players. The fans were still behind the team in the second h...

Hull vs Leeds Team/Report/Ratings

I do really like 4-2-3-1 and still think it's our best system but with Saiz and Ekuban out it's just not going to work for us consistently/at all until they are both back. Neither Lasogga or Roofe can play the lone striker role imo so you have got to play them up front together for the time being. K...

Re: Pablo Hernandez

Has made us tick in Saiz's absence Quality player whom is underrated by some of our fanbase Agree mate, I actually think Pablo is the better player of the two, I would imagine most would disagree but I think Pablo offers a lot more vision than Saiz he sees the opportunities quicker than Saiz does, ...
