Re: Jesse Marsch- Faith restored?

A long time since I last posted  and have been meaning to get back posting again for ages and it's great to see the same names are still on the forum as when I last posted regularly :) but have to say my patience in Jesse has gone now tbh. I was behind this project at the start (although was gu...

Re: Today's Games - Czech Republic v England

I like Southgate but he got it badly wrong last night. Team selection was ridiculous we’ve got arguably the best right back in the world in Trent Alexander Arnold but he’s 2nd choice for England behind Trippier 😤 Keane shouldn’t even be in the squad, Rose over Chilwell a complete joke as well The mi...

Re: Eddie Nketiah

Could Eddie be our regular penalty taker if he can find his way into the Leeds first team Definitely, really hope we give Eddie more minutes after the international break. I like Bamford but Eddie offers a totally different threat pace and very good finishing. I would like to see us rotate between ...

Re: Player of September - Your Top Five

1. Dallas- consistent throughout the month.
2. Phillips- excellent vs Barnsley and Derby
3. Klich- controversial but star man at Barnsley and ran the show up until penalty miss v Derby.
4. White- Solid again and composed
5. Cooper- Nothing too outstanding but partnered White very well at the back.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th October) - Jack Clarke to be recalled

It’s only fair that Clarke gets called back and it’s certain he’ll come back to haunt us with Bristol. I doubt Clarke will go back on loan to a club that high up the league mate. Think he will probably end up on loan at a club lower down the championship a Barnsley, Luton or Reading someone like th...

Re: Oh Dear Ole

Maguire was a poor choice of signing, he’s not a bad player as such but massively overrated. No team is going to be successful when Maguire is your main CB. He needs a solid CB with pace alongside him to have a hope of keeping clean sheets. That £80 million could have been spent on a far better CB o...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 8th October) - Jack Clarke to be recalled

Can’t understand why Clarke hasn’t been given a chance this season especially when all of our wingers have been below par. I’m not saying start him but a few chances off the bench would have been nice. Still have to remember he is only 18 and he changed a lot of games during the first half of last s...

Re: Berardi - You’ve seen them given

Great news with the Berra red card being overturned It's going to be interesting what that team vs Birmingham will be especially if Forshaw is back too. Quite possible that one of Ayling or Dallas gets dropped to the bench to move Forshaw back into the midfield. I'm expecting a 3 at the back system...

Re: Playoffs is our destiny

Kinnear did say when we targetted Dan James that they had identified him as someone who could come straight in and make an impact. It may have been as an impact sub but never the less it seemed that they used January to try to sign players that could fit in straightaway, as Kiko did albeit a differ...

Re: Playoffs is our destiny

I don't think the January transfer window will make a difference. As much as I think there's areas we could/need to strengthen in. I honestly don't see it being the difference between us finishing top 6 or in the top 2. Unless there's an injury crisis the signings simply won't come into the team str...

Re: Perspective

Some fans seem to expect us to win every single game and win them comfortably too. Yet the same fans will lay into all the players after a defeat claiming they aren't good enough - yet still expect those players to win every game with ease. My point was that even a ridiculously good Juventus team, ...

Re: Millwall v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Post match reaction

The red card and penalty changed the game massively no doubt about it and both were horrendous decisions, however, we did nothing to help ourselves in that first half. We just gifted Millwall the first half giving the ball away in our own half, wingers running the ball out of play and giving silly f...

Re: Scoring goals

1. Bring in Ayling as soon as he is available and play Dallas at LB neither Alioski or Douglas have been convincing in a back 4. 2. Play Costa and Pablo as inverted wingers yes we would have less width but Costa is far better on the right and Pablo although less comfortable can still do a job on the...

Re: Charlton Athletic v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Costa to make first league start

First post in a while just had a mad busy last couple of months but should hopefully be able to post regularly again :) One of our poorest displays under Bielsa just everything was wrong about yesterday: 1. The performance yes we started the game quite well but I genuinely can't think of us creating...

Re: Wigan Athletic v Leeds Utd Match Thread

A very professional performance today, showed excellent character to pick up more points from a losing position and Wigan never really looked like scoring after we got the 2nd. Top of the table and it's totally deserved. Player Ratings: Peacock-Farrell- Probably can't do much about the goal having w...

Re: Leeds United versus Stoke City - Official Match day thread

Absolutely incredible start we literally dominated the game for the whole 90 minutes and didn't drop our intensity at all something I haven't seen from a Leeds team in a very long time it should have been 5 or 6-1 today. Bielsa produced an absolute tactical masterclass against Stoke's supposedly sup...
