Although I personally prefer the rawness of his earlier work, Taxman combines his sincerity with more evolved and accomplished songwriting. His later records have decent arrangements but lose his early passion. This record wa...

TThe Masters, US Open, and PGA have all been rescheduled, but none of them holds a candle to the Open.
Best Major by a stretch, I've been to The Open and played at RSG. Brilliant venue to spectate as there is so much space.

Re: Mega Favourite Song Poll RD 29 - Norfolk to NOMINATE

THE most important band since the Clash and before that the Doors/Velvet Underground . It popped up on my iPod the other day, mental note as a must nomi...

Re: Authors of Fiction

It’s a while since I read them but the James Clavell - Shogun series is a decent read. There is also another book of the actual events on which Shogun is based, can’t remember the name right now but that’s fascinating stuff......if that sort of thing floats your boat :)

I can take them or leave them, but the film Love & Mercy about Brian Wilson is well worth a watch. Plenty of insight into his character and creative process.

What a shame I can envisage one of the great musicians Ry Cooder going out to the bl**dy Stereophonics, a band out of the Coldplay school :(

Each to their own I suppose, never got what all the fuss is about them tbh
