Re: Emiliano Sala and Pilot

So tragic. Sky Sports have just played a what's app that Sala sent to his group. It's very sad....here goes.... "Hello my brothers, how are you? Boy I'm tired. I was here in Nantes taking care of things, things, things, things, things, things. And it never stops, it never stops, it never stops. Any...

The worlds oldest looking 17 year old. :) Given our difficulty at times breaking teams down combined with our injury problems I'm a bit surprised that we havent seen more of him. Paddy Bamford has only managed a handful of games, we have been solely reliant on Kemar Roofe or Tyler Roberts. Both have...

Re: Rob Price

Would the medical team rush players back? Or is that more likely to be the coaches. I think with having a relatively small squad of senior players there will always be pressure to get them back in early, however conversely that probably means it is better to be sure they are 100% fit. Bit of both i...

Re: Rob Price

Injuries are injuries, I should know. Sometimes you make a good recovery sometimes it's trickier. I'm sure our head of medicine is doing a fine job with what he has at his disposal Perhaps, but Berardi for example is a prime example of a player being rushed back from what I've read, incredibly comm...

And the family of the pilot often overlooked in these situations. Sad Indeed.
Very good point.

Condolences to the as yet unnamed pilots family to.

Emiliano Sala and Pilot

Incredibly sad situation this :( The striker was on a plane that went missing near Guernsey last night. Reported that there was Sala and a pilot on it. Very sad :( Lot of questions to be answered at another time. Reports say the plane struggled to take off and had to repeat 3 or 4 times. Flying expe...

Re: A Matter of Perspective: Expectations Now and Then

Expected playoffs start of the season same as every season. If you expect to finish outside of them then you expect to be mediocre imo and thats not an achievement. Dont want a club that aims to be mediocre which is what worries me about being in the Prem tbh, you should always aim to achieve someth...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate ( Tue 22nd Jan)

Awful news about Sala, condolences to all involved. But wtf was he doing in a light aircraft? Phillips should come back in for Forshaw but knowing MB he will play cb and him and Cooper will spend 90minutes being battered by Rotherhams 6ft3 Michael Smith who did extremely well vs Bera and Coops earli...

Our Head of medicine. Former Liverpool and Hull Physio. Was hailed earlier this season for getting players back ahead of schedule. But that didnt last. Questions are being asked, are our players being put back in to early? Luke Ayling for example hasnt looked close to right since he returned. Barry ...

Where will Brown play? No 10 or wing?
Long way off being able to influence a Championship game from what i saw today, absolutely miles off.

Not that he was bad like Baker but the lack of fitness and match sharpne just oozes out of him.

Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread

How has Casilla looked, Cjay? That should have said "not" I did watch about 25minutes of the 2nd half. Decent i thought, some nice passes to the flanks, came and caught 1 or 2 crosses although wasnt under huge pressure but even so. There was a few of those ones where the winger gets to the li...

Now watching it but u23s 1-0 up vs Southampton at ht

Izzy Brown was meant to start but now on the bench.

Berardi taken off limping late on 1st half.

Cant rely on players coming back from injury as keeps being said

Re: Championship 18/19 - Bolton v West Brom tonight

Yannick Bolasie has returned to Everton, loan deal with Villa cancelled.

Villa fans delighted.

Bit of a cautionary tale for us, Bolasie is talent wise to good for the league, never been the same since he did his ACL.

Izzy Brown and LUFC take note.

Is NOT the new Udders manager  Dont know who saw this but Manchester City vs Udders the other day, Sky thought they had spotted the next (and now confirmed) new manager Jan Siewart in the directors box. So they sent a reporter to ask him and put a camera on him while he did it just for the fun....

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 21st Jan)

Thought Jansson was unlucky but i could see the logic, since it was given for handball there was no logic, nonsense call.

Ayling hasnt changed just the style highlights his weaknesses more.

Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion

No excuse for selling Jack this window.

Not about the money.

Keeping him is a statement.

Much more important then the cash.

Keeping Jack is vital both on the pitch and off it.

On it for obvious reasons and off it because it sends a message to everyone that we can keep our best players

11 Club Count

Since hearing 11 (less then half) of The Championship clubs have written to the EFL to complain, the question was who? Well 3 have come out so far, and 1 more would seem fairly obvious. Norwich- Our nearest challengers, no surprise there, LETS BE AVIN YOU. Millwall- that fine bastion of integr...

Thats it, surprised Forshaw has so many votes seeing as it was him ball watching that allowed Allen to sneak in and score.
