I think you're confusing Shackleton with Edmondson, and personally, I would be happy with a point at Hillsborough.
Afternoon Gandalf, yes I was.

Shackleton I thought was still injured. though.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

The only question I have is, are we being found out? I don't see the games apart from the odd lucky stream so can only go on what you guys write and reports from ESPN etc., and I'm grateful for that, but it means I can't really get the 'feel' of a game like you can when you watch it live. Hi Norm, ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

BPF should have done better, as should others. Not sure i believe Bielsa, knowing what a perfectionist he is i imagine Philips part in the 2nd will have really infuriated him. But good managers protect there players. The fake injuries when we looked like we could build something were annoying, as w...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

In a serialisation in the Times of extracts from Keegan’s book, the former England and Newcastle United manager describes a transfer deal that took place when Dennis Wise was manager at Elland Road a decade ago. Explaining how Newcastle signed players they knew to be wholly inadequate behind his bac...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

Morning EB1 and everyone, While I agree with '64 that MB cleverly apportions no blame to Kalvin Phillips for the tactical substitution, this is the second time that he has done this to him regardless of the reason and think it could start to affect his confidence. Surely he could have got orders on...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

Morning Leon, Birmingham certainly made it difficult for us by getting 11 players behind the ball when we were attacking.

Yes, I'd call it cheating too. It was so blatent.

The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th Sept)

Good Morning Everyone Leeds suffered their first league defeat of the season against Birmingham at the weekend courtesy of a Che Adams first half brace and although Alioski grabbed a goal with five minutes remaining, Leeds were unable to find an equaliser. Phil Hay makes an interesting point in the ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 21st Sept)

Good morning Matt & everyone Hopefully Bamford will be fit for our 2019 run-in Many pundits/players/opposition fans are talking about Leeds right now & why not we were are playing premiership style football similar to Wolves & Fulham last season, I would say we look stronger than the Cottagers tbh ...

The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 21st Sept)

Good Morning Everyone Patrick Bamford has been talking to Popey about his relief that he does not have to undergo the knife. This will be the difference between 4 months out of action or 9 months out of action. Fortunatly the posterior cruciate ligament damage which the 25yo sustained in the 5-0 thr...

Fratton Park. Think it was 1986.

Pompey were top of the table. We were bottom half.

We won 3-2. A brace from Ritchie, one from Baird I recall.

The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 20th Sept)

Good Morning Everyone A 2-0 home win at the Riverside keeps the pressure up on Leeds as Boro close the gap at the top of the Championship to one point. If we think this is pressure, what is it going to be like in April? Leeds Utd scouts were in attendance as Barcelona’s Under-19s won 2-1 against PSV...
