Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Playing it out from the back the way we do is not without risk. However, that is the ethos of the manager, and you just have to look at the second goal to see the benefits. No risk, no reward. For all the twitter idiots - Cooper 91% pass completion rate, Phillips 88% pass completion rate (from 118 ...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Anyone who is made uncomfortable by the colour of the walls needs to have a long hard look at themselves. Would be amazed if this works, and to be honest would be surprised if there's any hard evidence that it has been effective in the past. Afternoon Genghers, I absolutely understand where you are...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Hi Matt - Yes in an ideal world, although can't see how that can be accomplished. Not my specialism, I don't subscribe to anything online other than this forum. I suppose the problem is the World has only known social media (in its present form) for circa 10 years. Its actually a very dangerous too...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has revealed that he had shortlisted Antonio Conte, Claudio Ranieri and Roberto Martinez for the Whites managerial vacancy earlier this summer before appointing Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road. The Italian, who was speaking to Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport, says tha...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Good morning Matt, Some humans are unable to go through day to day life without negativity, it is a psychological condition, typically associated with a deep seated personal unhappiness and discontentment in life as a whole. Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Good morning Matt So those on Twitter/Facebook were at the game then  Phillips missed an interception & made a couple of poor passes in what was otherwise yet another splendid performance from KP. Cooper only made one glaring error, but apart from that he looked assured Rotherham were notice...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Do the EFL have rules on such things? It's very pre-LGBT and maybe should be frowned upon. It's not homophobic but rather designed to make straight guys uncomfortable. Amidst all the LGBT stuff don't straight guys have rights too. I wonder how Norwich would feel if a couple of small cans of black p...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

I was at the game and yes Phillips put a couple of passes astray and Cooper played a dodgy back pass, but are our fans seriously berating them, if those fans are sitting back waiting for 100% accuracy in everything we do they are seriously deluded.I watch alot of football and I see passes going ast...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

There were some head scratchingingly bad passes in the first half that did give Rov a chance or two but it was a bad half at the office, happens and he redeemed himself second half. No need for the twitter morons to pile on. But that's what Twitter morons do Morning faaip, I think its a social medi...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

I don't care what else Kalvin did but that pass to Kemar which led to his goal was good quality so he's still doing something right. I didn't see the whole game but I think we ended up the stronger team. Some Leeds "fans" ought to be horsewhipped for their constant 'boo-boy' comments. Morning Norm,...

The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 20 Aug)

Good Morning Everyone After a topsy turvy first half on Saturday, Leeds took control and came away comfortable victors by two goals to nil. The display was not as comprehensive as any of us thought it would be, and its fair to say there were periods of the game when Leeds were not playing well - but...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

G'Mornin They shouldn't be tired, if there already tired then we have a problem. Think the way we press is important for energy levels. Press like headless chickens then they will be knackered, press intelligently and as a group its less tiring on an individual which is what we have done so far imo...

He has a clause in his contract that he can go to a Champ or Prem team for £1.5M. I don't think he is worth that. Posh fans say he is very hit and miss, and not a team player.
Morning Gandalf, wow 1.5m seems a snip, even if he is a bit hit n miss.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

I will be absolutely delighted if we get Madison, I have wanted us to get him all summer. As for the tiredness issue, I'm sure MB and his coaching team will monitor things closely and as players start to show signs of mental or physical tiredness they will be rested. Morning Chilli D, I wouldn't co...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

Morning Matt, We have our 4th game coming up, no way should young fit sports men be tired, when you play the way we do, as Wenger did with Arsenal, training is all about certain fitness levels and working on systems and set plays, not running yourself into the ground in 5a side. If a player is carr...

Hi EB

Bielsa trains them very hard. Tiredness won't be a factor.

Another player linked with Leeds? Apart from Messi, Ronaldo, Salah and Modric, has anyone not been linked with Leeds?
Evening Harry, thats called keeping their options open. :)

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

They wear trackers so does anyone know how much further they run playing the pressing style? Morning Dalton, good poin...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 17th Aug)

Good morning Matt & everyone Once again Bielsa thinking outside the box. How many other managers reveal their line-up 48 hours prior to a game? We have a really tough schedule until the end of August then the majortity of our players can take in a short-break during the international week in early ...
