Re: Ayling Out?

Since Ayling has been injured, I think we have won 4 games. He has been our engine. We cannot efford to sell him.

Re: Ayling Out?

Not sure how this one started but saw it a few times on the news feed this morning. Phil Hay (Yorkshire Evening Post) even mentioned it briefly. I can see that we have a few right backs with Coyle coming back and Berardi. Yiadom from Barnsley has been heavily mentioned too, although I'd picture him...

Re: What might have been

Yeah definitely. Jokanovic finished 21st in his first season at Fulham and Wagner finished 19th, just shows what happens when you give them time to build. I said the day he was appointed he needed two seasons and I honestly thought AR would give him that. Hope we reconsider bringing him back. Wasn'...

Re: What might have been

Ironic how both Monk & Christiansen made a mockery of the FA Cup in their quest for promotion & failed :( Ironic how both Cellino & Radz didn't do enough in the January Window & yet again we failed :( Yet again, again and again. We don't learn by our mistakes. These are huge glaring...

Re: What might have been

for me the turning point in the season came in the Newport game. We had a decent spell around xmas and werent out of the hunt for a play off spot. Then we went behind in the cup, Saiz our playmaker came on, spat and got banned for 6 games. The wind went out of our sails and the good ship Leeds Utd ...

Re: Our strikers....

Interesting how many people on here were singing PH's praises and saying how he was getting the best out of Lasogga in the first few matches of PH's reign. Obviously nothing to do with the fact Lasogga had gotten over his injuries and had probably gotten more settled with his homelife with his miss...

I'm not but it couldn't get any worse. Shame Corberan can't speak any English (to speak of).

Re: Our strikers....

The other issue is : Why should 20,000 fans pay for a season-ticket in the championship & watch League One footballers or players that are not ready at championship level ? I've bought my 2018/19 S/T, will it be devalued once again watching players who are clearly not good enough ? With 3 games...

Re: Our strikers....

Those are poor stats no doubt. Still think as a fanbase we decide players are crap far to quickly. Grot especially, he's 19 years old, ffs give him a a chance. What if Dalby or Edmondson get stuck on for the final 3 games for 15 mins at the end and do nothing. Are they crap? Or what if Jack Clarke ...

Longest trip following Leeds

I was just reading an article from our asteemed leader 1964 telling us about all the roadworks he hit following the game at Deepdale midweek and it got me thinking! A few seasons back I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the Liverpool - Leeds League Cup game. On my way back to Southampton, there w...

Norm wrote: Mon Apr 09, 2018 8:56 pm I agree with those who wish to retain him.
Berardi can play anywhere across the back, and the guy aways gives it his all, but should he be a first team regular - No.

I don't lke saying that, as 7 out of the remaining 10 players do not give it 100% week in, week out.

Little & Large at the back then Ell :-D We could have got away with playing two Anita's for the price of one. Do you remember half way through the second half against the Mackems. They had a dangerous free kick which 91 out of the 92 league teams would have swung into our box. Heckingbottom dec...

Re: Stick or Twist 2

Yes, some rather bizar decisions were made. We did get Pennington in, and why Green left remains a bit in the dark. Wiedwald must have shown his weaknesses if there was any real scouting going on. The fact we play Sunderland with one CB is as such of no concern to me. We`ve nothing to play for, so ...
