Re: Aberdeen

The government keeps releasing the 'so many COVID cases per a hundred thousand people' statistics and people think "thats not many, I won't get it" until they do.
And by the time they know they have got it they could have potentially passed it on to a loved one who could get seriously ill with it.

Re: Arsenal

This is, unfortunately, the shape of things to come not just in the football world but in all walks of life. The job situation will get even worse at the end of October when the furlough scheme ends and companies let people go because they can't afford to pay them. It is an almost daily occurance no...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

Never thought of it like this but I bet this is a huge factor. Luckily, Bielsa should be able to attract quality players to sign for Leeds. Also, a player who would turn down the money/lifestyle in London to come and play under a more exciting manager has the exact attitude we are looking for. When...

Re: Roofe to Rangers

Good luck to Roofe. Hope he likes finishing second. He is a step down from Alfredo Morelos imo but should still score plenty up there. I only catch some of the goals scored in Scotland, but i'm guessing the overall standard is poor. Celtic to win the treble treble tells its own story. I watched the...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 5th August) Leeds to fight it out for Brentford stars

Josh Onomah looks a good player, full of running and has a goal in him but no chance of getting him now Fulham have been promoted. I think I would go for Benrahma out of him and Watkins but I think we are more likely to get Watkins. Perhaps Thomas Frank will keep his comments to himself now and wait...

Re: Pivotal week

Would Bielsa have gone to watch the Everton game if he wasn't staying?
I have no doubt in my mind that he won't be with us this coming season. He'll be with us.
I hate pre-season, it does my head in.

Puki looked like he was carrying a bit of extra timber after the lock down to me.
I may be wrong but he looked a bit chunky, maybe too many chocolate digestives during the enforced break?

Re: Tonight's Playoff Final

Really looking forward to the game, just so glad we're not involved in it, the emotions would be too much to handle.
Its two evenly matched sides but I think Brentford will nick it.
If Brentford lose i think we have a chance of getting Watkins but not Benrahma.

Re: The 5:2 diet: A guide and meal plan

Well done 64. I've lost 8 kilos since February using the counting calories method. That way you eat and drink whatever you want, just don't exceed 1500 calories a day. Now I've got down to my ideal weight I'm strict Mon-Friday but relax a little over the weekend, eating what I want :) The My Fitnes...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 3rd August) Whites eyeing move for Iranian star

Not at all relevant to today's breakfast debate but did anyone else see Ryan Edmondson make his Aberdeen debut against Rangers on Saturday? I thought he did really well when he came on (65 minutes) putting himself about up front and helping out defending at corners. He is built like a brick outhouse...

Re: A sign of the times

Hi Chilli, Sorry to hear about your troubles mate. I left school in 1981 and university in 1985 and there was no work at all in those days due to that disgusting twat Thatcher and co. I've had a few bad knocks myself in lie too. But once you get over the shock, dust yourself down and I would advise...

Re: From Heartbreak To Champions

Only just had chance to watch this. Great stuff but they could have omitted that bell end Lampard from it. I hope Arsenal stuff his lot today. Just the sight of him and his arrogance winds me up.

Re: A sign of the times

Well hopefully we'll vote them out first possible chance. Sorry to hear that Chilli, leaving school/college? in 81 would suggest you're around the same age as me. Even tougher past a certain age to find work. Early retirement not possible? That's what's kept us going, my partners Civil Service pens...

A sign of the times

So yesterday I got made redundant from my job, meaning for the first time for 28 years I am without work and only the second time since I left school in 1981. Obviously I am one of many, many people who are in the same situation as a result of the pandemic and the effect it has had on the economy bu...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 30th July)Digital health passport could be the key to see fans flock back to Elland

Morning All, If the simple blood test could be done at a local hospital or health center, the idea is sound. The whole system for implementing it is obviously still in its infancy but i see something along these lines as being the only way to ensure safety for all spectators others than reducing cro...

Re: Emi Buendia

If Bielsa feels he can manage him he could well be signed, he does fit the bill for using on numerous fronts so he’s bound to be on the radar. If Bielsa feels there could be an attitude issue he won’t touch him with a barge pole. All Leeds transfer business is behind a veil for the most part in rec...
