Had difficulty logging in recently. Just kept returning to the log in page, but seems ok now.

Re: Could I have done more?

I don't actually disagree with your last two comments. As I said originally, my criticism of Peterson is that he bases his whole concept of cultural marxism on a misunderstanding of postmodernism, which isn't surprising as, by his own admission, he hasn't studied, or even read, the key writers. The ...

Re: Could I have done more?

are you a radical leftist feminist gender fluid vegan Are you saying that people who have different views, a different gender, or a different lifestyle from you, should be ridiculed? A different culture, maybe, or a different skin colour? Do you think that your right to free speech includes the rig...

Re: Could I have done more?

I've already told you I have no time for him because his 'thought' has no academic rigour, and he stirs up prejudice for popular acclaim.

I come on here to talk about Leeds United, not to argue with someone who thinks parroting Peterson videos equates to free thinking. I find it pathetic tbh.

Re: Could I have done more?

Total, utter nonsense. If philosophy is too difficult to understand, then don't spout gibberish which purports to be based on it. I know full well the difference between Marxism and cultural marxism; the former is a critique of an economic system, the latter doesn't exist, except as a hypothetical a...

Re: Could I have done more?

Middle aged, middle class, white American males talking about racism; always a good look. My beef with Peterson is that there are deep philosophical flaws in the positions he takes, particularly, as mentioned, with regard to his misunderstanding of post-modernism, which is at the root of his views o...

Agree with what others have said. If he is fit, he has to play, until we have someone else who can match his creativity. He's obviously still enjoying his football, and gives his all.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 13th June)

Hopefully we won't let any key players go unless it's silly money, and we have suitable replacements lined up. I'd definitely prefer Kalvin to stay. Harrison may have a better season, but clearly he should be competing for a place and not being played regardless.

Re: Could I have done more?

Peterson hasn't 'destroyed' any argument or viewpoint whatsoever. His pretenses to philosophy are laughable; he has no training in this area, and hasn't even read the source material of those he claims to critique. Pure snake oil, I'm afraid.

They have a better understanding of post modernism than Jordan Peterson.

Not listened to early Wishbone Ash since I gave up my vinyl. Happy to remake the acquaintance. Had a little listen to the Delines when you first mentioned them and liked what I heard.

Wolves releasing Costa and Cavaleiro. Either/or both of those. No to Vydra for me, only does it when the team is set up around him, and has a s**t attitude. Not too fussed about Kent.

Keep, we'll either get investment or sell Clarke. As for his 'value', I think he'll get better and could be a prem player with us this time next year.

Jeffrey Lewis Hebden Bridge Trades Club 9.6.2019 I've heard and liked a few songs by Jeffrey Lewis over the years, but not enough to buy an album or see him live. My friends from Hebden's band were supporting, so I mainly went to see them. I like the Trades Club, it's the perfect size for a venue, f...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 10th June)

Good morning! Is this a hint of our future as a feeder club under QSI, when what's best for Leeds is no longer the priority of their 'business model'? The EFL rule change is an admission that there was no rule in place under which we could be charged. It's a nonsense. We should make a point of obser...
