Re: Player Profile : Patrick Bamford

Keep Bamford, I am confident of two things. 1. If he stays fit he average a goal every other game and 2. He will always be criticised by a lot of the fan base because of his languid approach. It will be up to the guys around him to contribute to the goals tally if we are to get into the top two next...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 24th June)

Morning everyone. So we bring in a Buffon to replace a Buffoon... More money down the drain imo. Coop isnt captain material, last season showed that up, in fact he isnt a big game player. Is he good enough to play? Yes, I think he will Improve this season. But he needs to lose the armband. Not sure ...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread

Latest paper talk linking Costa to Villa, that along with the lad from Forest Green heading to Huddersfield.

I wonder if we are just too burdened down with surplus players and need to shift a dozen so or them before we sign anyone?

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 21st June)

Morning all. Nice to see us broadcast straight into the homes of the pay per view audiences again. No messing first game of the league and no doubt a mini war of the Roses in the Carabao Cup. Forshaw, this is tricky for me, he has always been a target for the boo boys but is a better performer than ...

Re: Player Profile : Jack Clarke

The trouble with Clarke is that we don't really know how good he will be. Has he been found out and blunted by championship defenders or was that just a blip in his development. His form had deteriorated well before the fainting/collapsing incident at Boro and I think it was against Brentford later...

So Diaz is gone.

Did we sell him or was he out of contract? :duno:

Pity that one of the so successful development squad goes on to do absolutely nothing for us.

Re: Concerning Transfer Policy

Only four weeks ago we had one eye on the Premiership and no doubt transfer wise MB Et all we’re thinking of building a squad to withstand the rigours of that league. Now we are where we are, set for another season with a squad with enough in it to push for top two spot again. All we need is a few t...

Re: Album Club Review - Wishbone Ash 'Argus'/Delines 'The Imperial' REVIEWS PLEASE

'Phoenix' is Wishbone's anthem a song off their debut album. Classic track lasting only a mere 10m.26s  one of the great guitar breaks of all-time from Andy Powell & Ted Turner. That's the problem with live versions, it seemed every 70's drummer needed to show off with his drumsticks, was alwa...

Re: Album Club Review - Wishbone Ash 'Argus'/Delines 'The Imperial' REVIEWS PLEASE

Listened to Wishbone Ash today. Earphones on. Before long I was transported to a different time. I could smell the patchouli oil, (among other resinous substances, ;-) ) the flairs, the denims were naturally distressed...................... Hair. Sixth Form lyrics. Swords, Knights, etc etc... Yeah!!...

Re: Concerning Transfer Policy

We were warned about it being a tricky season transfer wise.

I see us selling two first teamers, bringing in 3 loans at a cost of £5 to £8m and buying three squad fillers for a maximum spend of £1.5m.

And that will be it.

Think Lampard is going to get that job at some point.

I think the rest of the Prem will be happy to welcome him to the league.

It will take some heat out of our games against Derby but what are the chances we draw Chelsea in either the league or FA cup :roflmao:

Re: Player Profile : Tyler Roberts

Tyler frustrated me at times, but he is only learning his trade.

This season he needs to Improve his use of the ball as his passing can be iffy, not great for the playmaker MB requires.

Keep.
