Re: What are you doing today ?

Just back from a walk down the Caledonian canal, had sun, rain, strong wind a heavy hailstorm and snow then back to sunshine and that was just the first mile and a half, you have to love Scotland. Wedding anniversary today so out for a nice meal at the local hotel tonight. Sampled some of the dishes...

You would have to be able to stem the flow between the 'b' and 'R'. Women are generally better at this than men. Besides which, you haven't seen my signature; quick wriggle and hey presto, it says 'Sara'.

Re: Tickets Leeds vs Huddersfield 07March

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm not scared of any 6% beer as long as I don't have to drive. :) I will be staying in City Center and will be free Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday* evenings for any regular MOTer to join me in a pint or two. I might even be persuaded to buy the first round ...

£39 for either fan is ott for the Championship but nothing the efl can do but advise. Aren't Sheff Wed and Ipswich even more expensive, especially when Leeds were in town.

As I posted earlier the Beatles had a massive influence on the music world & they must have written more than five good songs if so many great artists recorded 100's of their songs

They wrote some great songs, just didn't perform them very well. :-D

Re: Tickets Leeds vs Huddersfield 07March

Seems to me it was a breakdown of massive proportions for the Ticket Office. I don’t have the nerves waiting close to the date of kick off for any spares. I took the bull by its horns and ordered 2 tickets on the Centenary. As someone over at waccoe said the price is less than a night out in Norway...

I read somewhere that over 150 artists have recorded Beatles songs.
That wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Name them :)

Re: Album of 1975 - 1304 to VOTE

:) No disagreement with Bowie and the Stones. Unfortunately, the undue reverence given to the the Beatles just makes me want to attack them at every opportunity. The Monkees were a better band, seriously! I've always enjoyed Beatles songs but done by someone else, I think it's McCartney's voice I d...
