Re: January Transfer Rumours And Squad Discussion

Club has stated it is looking to add players who will make an immediate impact, but fall into our wage structure, there’s too much hot air being spoutted in the papers and online to be able to make any judgement on what will happen, I think two, quality players will come in, three if Baker goes else...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 28th Dec)

Here's a shout Gooners are desperate to unload him to a foreign club, maybe they would consider loaning him to a championship club Fits the bill as he is injury-prone like four or five of our squad but he oozes class AARON RAMSEY At least Pablo would be able to take a breather Even more far feteche...

Re: The Early #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 28th Dec)

Matt has just said it I do hope the gamble pays off not only for Patrick but for LUFC too. Bamford signing reminds me of us signing Alan Peacock in 1964, an instinctive No.9 like Bamford but Alan was a more prolific goalscorer. Similar build, we paid £55,000 for Peacock which was a lot of money in ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread

I understand your point Dezzy but Pablo looks as fit as a butchers dog, for me he seems to do as much chasing back & closing down as Alioski does for the team. He really does and so much more consistent than we have ever seen, it’s unlikely that he’ll be dropped for Baker as it looks like it’s not ...

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread

Not buying the argument to drop Pablo as I am sure everyone will be a bit tired but he was still able to put over a pinpoint cross for the goal in the 95th minute. Might be physically tired but to be still able to produce that quality at that moment is why we need him. Ideally we need a really comf...

Hull want a minimum of £10m, he'll not be coming. Seems the sort of player that would fit into the system and is the right age though. Everton seems to be his most likely destination.
Good signing but 10 million, can’t see us spending that, heard Everton is his likely destination too

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread

MB has shown zero inclination to rest anyone, or else Alio gets a break for a while. If we want to rest Pablo though then BPF - Shackleton - PJ - Halme - Phillips - Douglas - Alioski - Forshaw - Klich - Clarke - Roofe ...maybe For me Pablo is a special case, older than most, needs to be protected a...

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread

Can't afford to rest any of our players until the QPR cup game Pablo is indispensable, involved in 46 of our last 94 goals Phillips has been superb as one of our main CB's v Villa & Blackburn Ayling is no CB Can’t play players in every game, squad rotation is essential at busy times in the year. Ay...

Re: Leeds Utd v Hull City Match Thread

Hull in good form, Leeds in better form, both will be tired, I’d like to see Pablo sit this one out, looked a bit tired, he more than anyone needs to have his game time managed, Ayling to CB with pontus, Shackleton to RB, Philips forshaw and Klich in midfield, 2-0 Leeds

Re: Latest Injury Update

Disaster, but forces our hand in the transfer market a bit more and the presser today confirms we’re looking and they have to impress Bielsa and I’m sure he gave some detailed criteria to Orta.

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds Utd Match Thread

I’d like to see Roofe play the no.10 role, behind Bamford, gives him space to run at the CBs and the two of them can switch, prefer that to Pablo there, unless he starts Clarke. Harrison and Ali on the wings wouldn’t be great with neither in great form, not gone on Baker either, seems low on confide...
