Re: 2020-21 LUFC Squad

Updated for start of new summer transfer window. Although nothing has yet been confirmed by the club other than Meslier and Costa, it is apparent that we have signed several for the U23's. Anybody who hears anything concrete please post in here. You might consider Gelhardt for first team if we don'...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

Im still waiting for the downturn in prices caused by Covid 19 . . . . . Thought it was going to be a buyers market. It looks like a lot of clubs are going to have to start slashing their wage bills. That should benefit the clubs that are on the rise (those that got promoted). Plus L1 and L2 have t...

Re: Arsenal

That whole Arsenal situation stinks. The people they're laying off rent just employees, they're the local community and the fans. They should get their house in order before they start offering huge blockbuster deals to players.

Re: Aberdeen

Sturgeon's comments are right on point. Being allowed to resume the league is a privilege at this point. The players should treat it with more respect.

I think St. Johnstone's are entitled to a 3-point forfeit

Hopefully, Edmondson wasn't with them

Re: Player Profile : Pascal Struijk

Retain as a squad player, although I'd like to see a couple of signings ahead of him. 4th choice CB, 3rd choice DM.

Rating: 6/10 - not truly relevant as he's only been a small part player

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

but I seem to recall that nobody complained at the time that we couldnt afford these players. I knew Ridsdale personally in those days, and his biggest fault was that he was a fan of the club, desperately wanting success....O'Leary then says with just one or 2 more players we could become worldbeat...

Re: The "Summer" Transfer Window 20/21 season

Personally not a huge fan of this stockpiling of u23s in the hope 1 makes it so we can flog them for a profit. Individually they cost not to much but as a collective we have probably spent £10s of millions over all for very little return. From a business perspective it makes sense, can make a lot o...

There's a sentimental part of me that would have loved to have seen him back in a Leeds shirt. But I honestly think that we could sign better

Palace apparently have had a bid rejected for Eze.

QPR holding out for at least £16mil.

Id offer them that today, class act Eze.

Eze for £16mil, Almada for 18mil. Go go go
Palace might come back with more. They're probably anticipating losing Zaha which should give them money to spend

Re: Our front three...

Not one of them even came close to being player of the season Our best players were the ones behind them I stand by my comment. There's a strong possibility they'll all be starters again next year. Bielsa doesn't like sweeping changes and we've got more urgent needs at the back. I'm not saying we d...

Well done Harrogate. I almost congratuated Liam Kitching, but just Google'd and noticed he's not there any more. I did notice that it's his hometown though (bit posh). So, well done Liam Kitching.

I got 250/1 to win the League and 16/1 for us finishing in the top 6 with Bet365 So I based it on us not playing in Europe this season (probably will be next ;-) ) and if we have a blistering start as the last two seasons I can see us been up there after the first 10 games so the cash out might the...

Hope we see some movement on MB's contract very soon because we need to see movement on the transfer front. Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 3rd August) Whites eyeing move for Iranian star

I was getting excited by all the transfer news last week. This week it's sounding more like DeBock and Grot all over again.

In t'other news. Big fan of Edmondson. Hope he establishes himself.
