Re: Relegation/Promotion

Hopefully not Southampton. They've got to be sitting on a ton of cash.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 7 May)

Good Morning Everyone Good morning Ayling Not a coincidence. We have cover with Berardi, but since he missed 10 games through suspension and spent most of his playing time at LB, we didn't have any reliable back up. If Lewie Coyle had been here, Ayling might not have been missed so much. Problems a...

Re: Mateusz Klich

He's said this morning that he's on his way back, has 2 years on his contract and unfinished businesses. It sounds to me like he's had some reassurances that Leeds still want him. It would make sense because he's the kind of creative midfielder we've been missing. And there's an even bigger case sin...

Re: Ryan Edmondson

I think the only thing that surprises me is how he quickly he jumped ahead of Dalby and Clarke into a first team debut. Edmundson is a class act for sure, but will he be part of the first team squad next year? I think he only played one game for the 23s didnt he? With the other two I thought they wo...

Re: Ryan Edmondson

Really mature and class act for a young kid. Hard to believe he's 16 when you watch and listen to him. Glad to hear how many times he mentions he's a Leeds fan

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 3 May)

Good morning Ell Heckingbottom? It would be nice to know. If PH has the support then we could all get behind him -fans and players. Why haven't Radz or Orta said anything publicly? Charlie Taylor? Wouldn't take him back given the way he left - sitting out the last game. We'd never be able to afford ...

Promising.

But is he 1st team ready?

Thats the question, its basically grabbing someone from Non League.
Probably another one for the 23's. Wonder if we'll have too many: Grot, Dalby, Clarke, Edmundson, Whyte

Re: Leeds v QPR - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

I think a couple of players might get a pre world cup rest, and a couple of others might have picked up convenient season ending injuries - just in time to dodge the Burma tour. So inevitably we might see a couple of youngsters - Jack Clarke please after so much hype earlier in the year.

Re: Sky Lose La Liga rights to Radz's Eleven Sports

I bet you a pound to a penny that the bashing boys are sharpening their hatchets. They will see this as Radrizzani spending money elsewhere instead of on LUFC. I think it's a positive. He didn't do it to lose money but to make money. I think it's great for Leeds that Radz is wealthy enough to do th...

Kyle Bartley If your numbers are correct on Pablo. that means about 20k a week and that might be a fair reflection of our new wage cap - which could be a fair amount for Bartley. I'm ambivalent on that one. The way the announcement came out, after all the fans were pissed off on Saturday, makes you...

Re: FourFourTwo - 10 Most Depressing Teams to Support

I read that. It's a pretty subjective view and I can imagine a lot of clubs fans feel pretty depressed at the way their clubs continually disappoint. I wouldn't put us 5th and would say that while supporting Leeds might be frustrating at times, we have made progress since the Ridsdale collapse. No r...

Re: Hope For The Future

Well composed article Cjay and much hope indeed. I especially agree with the hopes of Corberan and the U23's coming through. Some have griped that we'll only sell them as soon as they make it to the first team. But even that is cause for optimism - free money. Add to that we seem to have so many pro...

Re: Supporting Leeds

Reading lots of these it’s evident that there is a massive chunk of Leeds fans over the wrong side of 45. Many of us who started supporting because of peers and friends in the early 70s. I’m from Northampton, even 20 years ago I’d see lots of people out and about in replica Leeds shirts around my h...

Re: Summer Transfers and Squad Discussion

Overall I think we have a decent squad. What's needed is steel and leadership. We should take the example from the Wilko years: Strachan, Jones, Kamara. I think we only need to fill 2 or 3 first team holes, but they need to be filled by experienced leaders, not promising youngsters. Forshaw was the ...

Vieira, Klich, Forshaw, Oriol Rey, Ideguchi (we owe him that seeing as we ruined his World Cup chances)
Forshaw, Klich, Viera, Philips. Ideguchi might prove us wrong but for me he only has himself to blame for not being successful in Spain.
