Re: A Big Thank You.

Well said Gessa. As the great song goes, we have had our ups and downs on this forum too but its the best LUFC one for sure, the only one I use these days. Well done Adam and thanks.

Re: Bristol City v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

Lonergan-7 . .One nervy moment, but did ok with what he had to, distribution a bit better to. Ayling-8 . . Back to his best, defended solidly and got forward when he could. Berardi-3 . . Just stupid, really stupid, he should know better and no excuse, not a position we are exactly blessed with opti...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

Glad you had a good day Gurj, you're the good luck omen. Didn't you do an away last season when we were on a bad run and we won. Cheers Gessa. Haha, nice coincidence that yes mate. Problem is I cant see me being able to get away tickets for next few games, even Wolves which is one I badly want to g...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

On way back from Bristol, this was the Leeds we know and love ! Didn't give Bristol City a sniff. Absolute top class.
Ronaldo Vieira take a bow son - majestic !

Re: Paying the price

I would still play Shaughnessy as a holding midfielder Anita who's natural position is in midfield is another option TC has never deployed Yes we have a few options to consider. Need TC to work out what is the best combination moving forward as this was something Monk was incapable of doing as we s...

Re: Paying the price

Klich needs an extended run. Played well v Burnley, although had that nightmare at Cardiff losing possession on the touchline for their first goal and we didnt recover thereafter. That poor night shouldnt restrict him just to Carabao Cup action. Lets see how he and Vieira could do as a combination p...

Re: Bristol City v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

SHould be really looking forward to this, my first away game of the season, but instead its a sense of concern, given how poorly we have been playing of late. Really hope some of our ' bigger ' players like Pontus, O'Kane, Ayling, Saiz and Lasogga can rejuvenate the team into something like the form...

Re: Where do the problems lie?

Faaip, struggling to see resemblance between Lasogga and Beckford's playing styles at all. Beckford had pace galore for a start so he could afford to play off the last defenders shoulder whereas Lasogga is very cumbersome in he's movement from what I have seen and was very static on Saturday !

Re: Where do the problems lie?

I think midfield is the obvious issue right now. I just dont think we can afford the luxury of playing both Pablo and Saiz and on current form if you had to choose between the two it had to be Samu. We need battling qualities to get us through this bad spell so the likes of Vieira and Dallas have to...

Re: Gold Membership

I am off to Ashton Gate on the 21st :-) :-)

Managed to get 5 tickets :-) Found a couple of members who were not attending that game to enable us to get the tickets for our friends who are not gold members.

Re: Sheff Wed v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

I dont know but I have had the impression since the start of this season, that TC doesnt rate Ronaldo Vieira. He's had ample opportunities to play him and other than the odd cup game, he's hardly had a start or even a place on the bench.

Re: Sheff Wed v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

I did say in my summary that I thought O'Kane was still ill. Now we find out that illness that LUFC advised us off at Cardiff was in fact cracked ribs !! Rep of Ireland Management advised last night that Eunan had to have a painkilling injection before the game on sunday to allow him to play. No won...

Re: Gold Membership

Thanks for the various messages guys. Yes it is extremely difficult to get away tickets these days even for ST Holders. I am hoping that as Bristol City have given us a decent allocation ( 3,700 ) we will be ok but I think I will have to tell my friends that their only chance is going to be sitting ...

Gold Membership

Looking for some help please folks. Are there any Gold members on here who are not planning to go to the Bristol City away game on Saturday 21st October who wouldn't mind us using their membership details to book some tickets on Friday ? I am planning to go with some friends but 2 of those are not m...

Re: Sheff Wed v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

An Absolute shambles. We thought Millwall was bad and Cardiff a shocker, this was even bloody worse !! TC tactics suddenly seem clueless away from home but to be fair to him, what can he do when so many players just don't turn up ?! I can say hand on heart that only 2 players were half decent to get...

Re: Sheff Wed v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

I would think we will revert to something like this, although personally I would probably go with Dallas ahead of Pablo for reasons ive stated previously about away fixtures. I would definitely start Roofe ahead of Alioski based on recent performances. Felix Ayling Pontus Pennington Anita Roofe O'Ka...

Welcome on board Lev. Ah, the good old Baseball Ground under lights, the days of proper football stadiums with their own distinctive real atmosphere's not like these identikit type modern stadia that are two-a-penny these days ! So hope we choose to stay at ER in the future when the choice to stay a...

Re: Cardiff v Leeds - Team,News,Reports & Ratings

Reality check I am afraid. We have done remarkably well thus far but there is a recurring theme developing in terms of us not having the stomach for a fight when the other side is tough and uncompromising. We will be fine at Elland Road but when we play away, the scene is set now for the opposition ...
