Re: The good & bad things from last night's game
Bad = shambolic defending and the most inept refereeing I have seen for many a year Good = Never say die spirit and Pablo back to he's mercurial best. Roll on Saturday v Wigan, haven't got a clue to what to expect when I take my seat again in the South Stand but don't suppose Bielsa has either these...

Re: Jean-Kévin Augustin- Phil Hay Update
Excellent, not eligible for the Millwall game but Jean is ours now & hopefully we'll see him in the Wigan game. Unintentional to sound racist but I love b***k strikers with pace. Yeboah, Beckford, Hasselbaink..... Not a racist bone in your body Leon my friend. If JKA is anywhere near as those l...

Re: QPR V Leeds Utd Match Thread
Douglas, Forshaw, and Roberts all out injured. No surprise with the latter two. Really is getting ridiculous how long they have been on treatment table !
Oh and Clarke has officially joined QPR on loan now and is set to face us on Saturday :-(

According to Ian Dennis of the BBC, both clubs are set to agree a 50:50 split ticket allocation which will be very interesting security/safety wise.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 13th January) Adams move to Elland Road will come at a cost
The issue with Gayle is he 's injuries seem to be getting more and more frequent. He actually came off early on Saturday with a suspected hamstring problem, having missed most of this season with similar issues. We can ill afford to pay big money for him ( or indeed any striker ) if they cant hit th...

Re: Che Adams
Probably lacking in some confidence at present but Saw him plenty of times for the Blues last season, including both games against us, to know he is a quality striker who at he's best, is a better all round front man than Bamford in my humble opinion.
Would love to see him join us.

Yeah good point Gessa and perhaps Pablo being the very clever old pro he is, went off as soon as he felt a twinge. Hopefully that's what has happened.

Re: Bielsa's Presser Today
Whilst I am delighted to see Pablo back, it seems to be very quick after he's hamstring injury which only occurred at Fulham a short while ago. Cant afford him to be out for even longer by coming back too soon. Fingers crossed the medical team have got this one right.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 9th January) - Leeds set Saints deadline over Che Adams
Do you really think that bielsa will prefer adams over bamford after such a short space of time? He'd have to really impress in training or coming off the bench to get into the starting line up. Whilst Patrick's all round play has been very good, he is missing far too many chances, as shown again o...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 9th January) - Leeds set Saints deadline over Che Adams
The big difference in my opinion with Che Adams is that he has the ability to force Patrick Bamford out of the team as he has all the physical attributes needed to play that lone man role, as shown in he's time at Blues. Eddie, for all he's qualities, just didnt have that presence and therefore Bamf...

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Bielsa takes on the Premier League
Yes that issue is continuing to haunt us......this is why Bamford for all he's excellent hold up play, has to become more clinical but he's record shows that he just isnt that kind of striker unfortunately. He will always need several attempts before he finally hits the back of the net.

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Bielsa takes on the Premier League
You must be knackered mate. I'm lucky I can take the day off, arrived home at 2.55am A special night even though we lost, probably a blessing in disguise. Performances like that are the reasons why I firmly believe we'll go up, we look very close to being a premiership side, we are certainly the be...

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Bielsa takes on the Premier League
Well we still lost the game. Arguably Grayson is more of a magician than Bielsa after the 1 nil win over United a few years ago, while we were in league one still :) Fair comment mate but speaking to a lot of the fans at the game last night, we all agreed that the performance yesterday was actually...

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Bielsa takes on the Premier League
Absolutely shattered at work right now, got home at 2am but it was worth it for that truly magnificent first half. Seldom have I seen a Leeds United side, after over 30 years of support, outplay (so called) superior opponents in the manner in which we did in that 45 mins. It was just fantastic and j...

Re: Huddersfield Town v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Usually I would be equally pessimistic about an away trip to Hudds, given how its been for us in recent years, but I sense that this team has a much stronger mettle about it probably due to what happened at the end of last season. I think we can go there and win, probably by a single goal, to extend...

Re: 2019/20 Transfer Rumours & Discussion Thread
White isnt going back this season - the only recall clause Brighton had was if he didnt play the quota of games they had set for him. Given he has played every league game for us, that invalidates that clause so no other way Brighton can get him back.
