It took over 12 months for Beckford to be a regular in the side, I've already seen Grella score some great goals and think there is a lot more to come.

Re: Beckford Transfer Request

Now its looks definate for us to stay in League 1 - so much for ambition. We will regret this. For fucks sake, whats with the negativity!? He's one player, yeah one who scores a lot of goals, but we've got a great squad with quality right the way through. Johnson and Snodgrass have scored a lot and...

Re: Beckford Transfer Request

Is that why WACCOE's down Shieldsy? Been having a few problems of late mate! It was running slow so Alex decided to fix it and broke it even more, wed got it to a point where it was working again and just an hour ago fixed some of the final issues. Not sure why its down again now, were assuming one...

Bit difficult for him to do that, he already re-directs 85% of his salery to Greggs!

Re: Beckford Transfer Request

People still have to put the correct amount of money in for him, but think he will go now. Should def be a thread who we think is best to replace him! Always been keen on Billly Sharp, great goal scorer at this level, not sure he could make the step up though as he never established himself at Shef...

Beckford Transfer Request

BBC Sport news ticker just said 'Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford hands in a transfer request, his agent tells BBC 5 Live'.

Just his agent trying to create a deal/contract offer or is this him on his way?

Coyle - The right move?

Owen Coyle moving to Bolton is I suppose similar to Grayson leaving Blackpool to come to Leeds. Hes chosen to move to a lower team in the league because of his history there, for him that is a dream job despite the step down. As Grayson did I'm sure he will expect that step down to be temporary, tha...

Re: Man of the match against scum!

Any one of Beckford, Johnson, Kisnorbo, Hughes or Kilkenny for me. Killa ran the show in midfield and Kisnorbo was imense at the back, Hughes did really well especially considering he is playing out of position and who he was playing against. Really it was a team performance though and all 14 were b...

Re: A New beginning?

There is a new begining but it started a year ago with the signing of Grayson. Some were sceptical, Bates going after a manager not many had heard of from a fairy s**t team but he has turned out to be one of the best managers in the country. He's made some great signings, spending not much money, he...

He's an impact player not a first team regular, as Grayson said on his day he can be brilliant or rubbish.

Re: Norwich Stats and why we are so negative

Deserved the win, i dont remember much Norwich chances at all.. wasn't very threatining anyway. Don't think we was lucky either, if we can play crap and beat one of the best then wow we are a pretty decent team. 100% NO DOUBT WE ARE FOR SURE GOING UP THIS SEASON 2ND OR 1ST. It won't slip this seaso...

Re: Leeds fans go mental - Becks winner vs Naarich!!

The crowd did go mental and it was cracking to see them jumping all over the place. Great to see sights like that!! Wish it was more of the same for longer, like it used to be years ago!! One moment I was saying goodbye to mydadin72 as he was walking past me at the end of the row, a second later we...

Re: Norwich Stats and why we are so negative

Sorry to sound a bit funny but if we dont play a ball through or over the top then where do we put it?? it has to be one or the other!! I meant we kept playing long balls hoping Beckford would be able to run on to them, when he didn't get there the ball came straight back at us. We needed to play a...

Re: Norwich Stats and why we are so negative

Solid display deserved to win. End of. Thought they put us under pressure all over the pitch today, gave us no time on the ball. Our relaince of playing a ball through or over the top didnt help today either, needed a striker to hold the ball up and keep the pressure off. The majority of our shots ...

God he was good! Kandol and Gradel made a really big difference, flick-ons and attacking down the flanks.

How does it work then?

Is it regional quarters, regional semis, regional finals (two legged) then the final (north winners v south winners).
