Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 3 May)

Not at all happy Heckingbottom looks likely to be here next season, the results have been appaling and performances haven't been much better. Genuinely cannot think of one reason why he should stay, has to go after the QPR game for me. Mid table at best next season if we don't make big changes in th...

Re: Leeds v QPR - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Just hope for once we try something a bit different 4-3-3 and play Saiz higher up the pitch as a false 9 I just don't think he is that good in the number 10 role and we are far too reliant on him in a 4-2-3-1 which is not good when he is out of form. Peacock-Farrell Ayling (if fit) O'Connor Jansson ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 2nd May)

Tickets, travel & refreshements Nearly £2,000 a season I reckon Maybe folks on here realise why I'm not so understanding about our demise ;-) I think i've comfortably passed the £1,000 mark this season mate  and i've hardly been to any away games (5) either  really wish I hadn't calcu...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 2nd May)

Good Morning Everyone If Leeds want Kyle Bartley they will need to match the £28,000 a week wage he is currently on. Bearing in mind the 26 yo has suffered another knee ligament injury, would you take the risk and sign him? Until recently Leeds capped their wages at 15k a week until last week when ...

Re: Leeds v Barnsley - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Disappointing performance I felt on Saturday, a wins a win I guess but the performances/style of football has been what I have been looking at more than anything over the last few weeks and I can't say I have been impressed. I was quite positive about the appointment but Heckingbottom hasn't changed...

Re: England World Cup Squad - Who's You Got?

Still a couple of weeks to go and a few areas up for debate but if the tournament started next week I would go with: 3 Goalkeepers: Pickford, Pope, Hart 8 Defenders: Walker, Trippier, Stones, Cahill, Mawson, Smalling, Gomez, Young, Rose 6 Midfielders: Dier, Delph, Milner, Oxlade Chamberlain, Lallana...

Re: Middlesbro' v Leeds - Team/News/Reports/Ratings

Embarrasing performance once again we failed to perform in a big game or when the pressure was on. Heckingbottom’s team selection and substitutions were awful. Knew we would lose as soon as I saw the midfield pairing I feel sorry to an extent for Phillips because alongside a more disciplined/stronge...

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

A bizzare game really, the result in the end was probably a fair one. We actually started the game well and put Bristol under pressure. Then moments later, 2 set pieces change the whole pattern of the game, poor goalkeeping and poor defending cost us once again. Bristol then started to play some won...

Re: Leeds v Bristol City - Team/News/Reports/Ratings....Sunday 4.30pm

Team I would go with have to play Lasogga and Ekuban together imo our best centre mid (Vieira) has to play as well. Just don't see the point of playing wingers atm all of them are totally out of form and Dallas+De Bock should be able to provide the width as Forshaw and Phillips can drop in to protec...

Re: Klich/Christiansen

I'm a fan of Klich and I genuinely think he has done well when he has been given the chance, he did have one absolute shocker at Cardiff but other than that I think he has done quite well and he is our best passer of the ball + most composed midfield player. Out of his 8 chances: Excellent in 2 game...

Can’t decide between two systems: Option 1 4-2-3-1 Wiedwald Berardi Shaughnessy Jansson De Bock Vieira Forshaw Alioski Saiz Hernandez Lasogga Subs: Lonergan, Anita, Phillips, Dallas, Ekuban, Roberts, Roofe Option 2 3-4-2-1 Wiedwald Shaughnessy Jansson Berardi Dallas Vieira Forshaw De Bock Hernandez ...

Re: Blunts v Leeds - Reports/Ratings

Thought we were much better today particularly in the second-half, at least we were more competitive & made a fist of it. We passed the ball with more efficiency, defended defiantly & at least created a few chances as oppose to the non-event in our last away trip at Hull Unfortunately we st...

Re: Blunts v Leeds - Reports/Ratings

A disappointing start for Heckingbottom but we did at least play better today and I thought we deserved a point tbh. First half was shocking second half much much better. I thought the team selection was disappointing tbh, Pablo should have started and I wouldn't have dropped Vieira. I thought Ekuba...

Heckingbottom a good appointment

http://www.motforum.com/images/th/heckingbottom.png Fourty year old Paul Heckingbottom may not have been the first name that most Leeds United fans though as their first choice for the vacant head coach job once Thomas Christiansen. With just over 100 games managed under his belt and Barnsley 21st ...

Re: New coach - Paul Heckingbottom

Said the same thing to a couple of mates tonight Oscar, those two are gonna have to pull their socks up now as he's not one for carrying passengers I doubt. Team selection should be interesting once he's settled in & got the best part of his squad back on board Some great points there Oscar esp...
