You should get along to Harrogate, if you like the feel.

A few of our members on here had an enjoyable night in Harrogate seeing Wally play their last gig a few years ago but that concert was in a much larger venue.

As a young man I use to do loads of small venue gigs around West Yorkshire, much easier then living in Leeds

Jill & I like Harrogate, we'll have to consider staying there for the weekend, they have some very good restaurants too !

The wife and I are heading to Memphis this weekend to see one of our favorite Brits, James Hunter. Can't wait.

When I go to a festival, that's the kind of thing I like to listen to early evening time. Nice

Picked up this cracking blues/rock/soul album for £4 in Edinburgh.

So happy I took a punt on this sublime album

A wonderful evening of ambient loveliness at Iklectic, near Waterloo station on Thursday evening, watching Rothko, Yellow6 and Darkroom. Unfortunately I got there too late to see the terrific Machinefabriek as well. £7 for 4 wonderful artists and a terrific projection show. Fantastic.

Yellow6's Jon Attwood finished his set with this. Utterly superb.

Re: Music Discussion Thread - YOUR 5 BEST LIVE ALBUMS

Your 5 best live albums

Not necessary in that order as I love them all - 5 star live albums

Playing Ya Ya's on repeat in the car which is probably my ultimate favourite as it goes back to 1970.
Pure rock from the Stones !

Get Yer Ya Ya's Out! - Rolling Stones
Live At The Grand Opera House Belfast - Van Morrison
Live : From Here To Eternity - Clash
Under A Blood Red Sky - U2
Free Live - Free

Would have to have a think but one live album which is magnificent but rarely gets a mention is The Tindersticks - Live At The Bloomsbury. An absolute 10/10 classic.
