A wonderful evening of ambient loveliness at Iklectic, near Waterloo station on Thursday evening, watching Rothko, Yellow6 and Darkroom. Unfortunately I got there too late to see the terrific Machinefabriek as well. £7 for 4 wonderful artists and a terrific projection show. Fantastic.

Yellow6's Jon Attwood finished his set with this. Utterly superb.

Great value mate

Our village was raising funds for the church, they were charging £12.50 to watch what is basically a bloke who sings loads of old songs in his living room, oh they threw in pie & pies as well

Your 5 best live albums

Not necessary in that order as I love them all - 5 star live albums

Playing Ya Ya's on repeat in the car which is probably my ultimate favourite as it goes back to 1970.
Pure rock from the Stones !

Get Yer Ya Ya's Out! - Rolling Stones
Live At The Grand Opera House Belfast - Van Morrison
Live : From Here To Eternity - Clash
Under A Blood Red Sky - U2
Free Live - Free

Would have to have a think but one live album which is magnificent but rarely gets a mention is The Tindersticks - Live At The Bloomsbury. An absolute 10/10 classic.

Wonderful performance but never actually got an album release did it? VHS only.......don't think it ever even made it to DVD? No idea why not. It's better than all the other live stuff they've released.
