Calvi ) is an English singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist. Her breakthrough came her stunning eponymous debut album in 2011. Two years later Anna produced another fine album 'One Breath'

Saw them live early in their existence at Reading, didn't finish the set though and didn't really stand out

Yes mate, saw them at a small festival last year, they were good, the shenanigans on and off stage, ie a 9ft polar bear walking through the audience adds a different dimension.

As she made them . Also have a very good live set, from Paris, that was free to download off her site. She too is very good live .

New album due from Calvi in the next few weeks

A pity her songs (jokers) received few votes in the Mega Song Contest, I suppose we are the only two on here who appreciate her albums, shame because Anna is a real talent

I've also been circling Fat Freddies Drop for a few years ...from the first very good album which even predates waccoe for me

Conway Savage has passed on,pianist from The Bad Seeds.
He suffered a brain tumour in 2017.

Held off our venture into my hall of fame during August as a few of of us were on holiday

Here we go again with another excellent underrated band from the 70's on my playlist

Babe Ruth featuring the wonderful voice of Jenny Haan

Apart from minimal chart success in the States, Babe Ruth struggled to gain popularity in the UK

Some nice little tunes here



This song is a journey well worth taking. It's a pity so few do
