And Mullins fires in Arctic Fire @ 20/1 (what a training feat) & Penhill @ 16/1 today

Sizing John @ 7/1 & Rock The World @ 10/1 trained by the wonderful Jessica Harrington bangs in two great winners too :-D

I didn't see many tipsters touting Sizing John to win the Gold Cup although jockey Tom Scudamore fancied it. They latch onto the hype horses & forget other decent candidates

As so often happens, the competition went down to the very last race, where I had the good fortune to land the 10/1 winner and take the honours for 2017. 64 also had three winners to win the “Most Winners” title, and gain a nice profit on the day. Jill also ended the day with a small profit. Commiserations to everybody else. One again, my heartfelt thanks for the spirit and enthusiasm that typifies this thread. Back to the mundane tomorrow at Kempton in the Saturday comp.
