Actually I'm relieved, I thought you were quoting me to tell me it was a non-runner or that the entire meet had been abandoned

Re: HORSE RACING CHALLENGE : NAP OF THE DAY
I quickly checked the result of the 2.40 & saw it was a non-runner.becchio bear wrote:It won and you posted an hour after it won that's why i'm laughing!
I know I was late but you only have to read my previous posts to Harry (who kindly & jokingly replied back) & to Gandi too. It was glaringly obvious that Early Retirement was my second choice. Annoyingly I checked at 1pm before I left home & Ballycoe was still down to race, the horse must have been withdrawn very late !
Oh well in future I will post up an alternative selection should my initial nap is declared a non-runner when I'm unavailable during the afternoons starting with this Wednesday's nap for starters !

Re: HORSE RACING CHALLENGE : NAP OF THE DAY
You changed your selection that's it. Of course if you post up prior to a race another selection if the first one is a non runner then that's fine. Sorry little old man you were too late1964white wrote:I quickly checked the result of the 2.40 & saw it was a non-runner.

It's just a bummer but not the end of the world. I was out in the sticks where there is no internet & a poor mobile signal so wasn't until late i could check as I got nearer homebecchio bear wrote:You changed your selection that's it.
