Probably regret not going for it, we'll soon know in a few minutes
Not much at all today I fancied tbh, only other one was Roll The Dough at Hereford 2.45 but that is a tight race.

Well I had my once-a-year real bet on horse racing today with the running of the Melbourne Cup. I'm proud to say that all five of my selections (win and place) finished in the top 17 :)

My one consolation is that in narrowing my choices down to five, none of the three that I rejected finished in the first three place either. ;)

Should have gone for the English horses, mate. They only won for the first time last night, but they always figure in the places.

Just realised that I could have watched it and had a flutter, as i got up at 4am to watch the cricket. I had forgotten that it was on, although I knew it was being run this week.

It is sad that we lost Cliffs of Moher, looked nasty.
